Yungblud, Nuno Bettencourt, and Frank Bello have won Best Rock Performance for “Changes (Live From Villa Park / Back to the Beginning)” at the 2026 Grammys. The other nominees were Amyl and the Sniffers (“U Should Not Be Doing That”), Hayley Williams (“Mirtazapine”), Linkin Park (“The Emptiness Machine”), and Turnstile (“Never Enough”).
“You do not expect to be up here and then you fucking are so it’s wild,” said Yunblud, while accepting the trophy for his live Ozzy Osbourne cover, alongside his fellow winners and Sharon Osbourne. “To grow up loving an idol who helps figure out your identity, not only as a musician but as a man, is something I’m truly grateful for. But then to form a relationship with them and honor them at their final show…we’re finding it so strange to comprehend.”
This was Yungblud’s first year being nominated for a Grammy; he scooped up three nods overall. In 2025, the Beatles won the Best Rock Performance Grammy Award for “Now and Then.” Sean Ono Lennon, John Lennon’s son, accepted the trophy on their behalf and told the audience to play the Beatles’ music for their kids because “the world can’t afford to forget about people like the Beatles… we need peace and love.”
