Fortnite‘s mini-season based on The Simpsons is set to kick off later today, but the exact time you’ll want to log on will vary by region. This morning brought the last season to a close with the transitional “Welcome, Our Alien Overlords” event, which provided a small Simpsons episode featuring the alien invaders Kang and Kodos.
In standard Fortnite fashion, the hours between the event and the start of the new season are occupied by server downtime, so you won’t be able to log in and wait around for the event right now. However, since the length of downtime is predictable, it provides a nice way to know what time the actual season should presumably kick off.

It’s always possible that times will vary slightly from the above, especially if there ends up being some issue that requires maintenance to be extended. If nothing goes wrong, however, all the values in the table should remain accurate.
What To Expect When The Simpsons Season Starts
Battle Pass, Sidekicks, & More
Fortnite revealed new details of the Simpsons mini-season today on the official Fortnite blog. The post notes that the battle pass includes the following outfits as premium rewards:
- Homer
- Marge
- Flanders
- Blinky Fishstick
- Springfielder Peely
The Battle Pass also includes the first sidekick for Fortnite, a new “customizable companion” feature. Peels, a banana-styled dog reminiscent of Peely, will mark the debut of the feature. Other sidekicks will appear in the shop on November 7.
Fortnite will also be releasing original Simpsons shorts both in-game and on Disney+ each week. The episodes are as follows:
- November 1 – “Apocalypse D’Oh”
- November 10 – “Sugar High”
- November 17 – “Multiplidiocy”
- November 24 – “The Incredible Bulk”
Other details should all be available in-game once the event kicks off. Fortnite is no stranger to major collaboration events, but for fans of Springfield, the Simpsons mini-season could turn out to be the most exciting one yet.
