The question we were asking Newcastle United fans on Wednesday was: Would you rather beat Barcelona and lose to Sunderland, or beat Sunderland and lose to Barcelona?
What would you choose?
Eddie Howe and his players face Chelsea away this Saturday in the Premier League.
That is then followed by two matches that I think pretty much all Newcastle United fans will agree, are the two they would most like to win, of the remaining games.
However, which one would you pick to win, at the expense of the other, if that was a deal offered now.
We gave Newcastle United fans these two options:
Win against Barcelona on Wednesday 18 March and then lose to Sunderland on Sunday 22 March.
Lose against Barcelona on Wednesday 18 March and then win against Sunderland on Sunday 22 March.
We made clear it wasn’t a case of being allowed to have a win in one game AND a draw in the other.
It was simply Win/Lose or Lose/Win.

So it was basically two in three of the Newcastle United fans voting, choosing a win against Barcelona and progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, with the sacrifice being a derby defeat to the Mackems.
