‘War Machine’ With Alan Ritchson Reveals First Look Ahead of Trailer

Alan Ritchson it ready to burst onto screens in yet another blockbuster action thriller, this time in Netflix’s sci-fi-themed War Machine. Ahead of the trailer, USA Today revealed a first look of a tanked up Ritchson facing an otherworldly threat that promises to pose a greater challenge than anything his version of Jack Reacher has faced in his hit Amazon series.

War Machine finds Ritchson continuing his run of action hero roles that he has made his bread and butter, and this time he stars alongside Jai Courtney, Stephan James, Esai Morales, Keiynan Lonsdale, and Daniel Webber, as well as Hollywood icon Dennis Quaid. The movie focuses on a group of Army Rangers being put through their final paces as part of the world’s toughest selection program, while they face “a threat beyond their imagination.”

Alan Ritchson has made his name with some big action roles, most prominently in Reacher, but even he believes that War Machine will be one of the “biggest movies Netflix has ever had.” In a previous interview, Ritchson hyped up the film as being a “monster” and promised that it will be “the coolest thing [Netflix] has ever made, guaranteed.”

War Machine recently landed a Netflix release date of Mar. 6, 2026, which is a perfect time for those who are just desperate to see the ever-popular Ritchson back on screens again. With Season 4 of Reacher coming to Prime Video soon, it looks like all their dreams are coming true.
