Apr 5 – Josh Sargent vs Plymouth Argyle
Sargent showed impressive technique to react after popping the ball up in the air with his first touch, timing his shot perfectly to smash it from midair.
Apr 5 – Malik Tillman vs Groningen
Tillman scored with a well-placed first-time curler to the far post. Nice setup from his teammate, as well.
Apr 5 – Jack McGlynn vs LAFC
McGlynn loves to have a hit from long range. Another goal from outside the box.
Apr 12 – Cameron Carter-Vickers vs Kilmarnock
Yeah, this seems like the de facto winner. What a thunderbolt from CCV. Even his teammates were in shock.
Apr 20 – Damion Downs vs Preussen Münster
Really nice control by Downs to bring the ball down, and quick release to punch it home.
Apr 20 – Paxten Aaronson vs Ajax
Paxten punctuated Utrecht’s 4-0 win over Ajax with this grass-cutting scorcher.
Apr 26 – Djordje Mihailovic vs Seattle Sounders
Mihailovic showed us why we sometimes see that extra defender lay down just behind the wall. Well-placed.
Apr 27 – Christian Pulisic vs Venezia
The fact that Pulisic made this goal easy is what makes it so impressive. His first touch is fantastic, he keeps his balance, sends the keeper the wrong way, and slots it home.
