Very promising signs for Chelsea as new players prioritise moves there

I absolutely do not think ‘Chelsea are back’ yet by the way. As I’ve said before recently, I need to see how we fare at the end of next season to be able to say whether we are back or not. I also still think we are a goalkeeper and a top centre back away from that as well and being able to challenge for that, should we get the double Dutch deals done as well.

But absolutely, the signs are so very positive and so very promising right now. And the fact that top players are desperate to join us at this stage is such a great sign.

We have just been crowned World Champions and we are back in the Champions League. Our project is looking very appealing now to players who are considering joining.

And when you hear stories like the Jorrel Hato and Xavi Simons ones, two top players who are desperate to join us, we must all absolutely be reading those with big smiles on our faces because this is so positive.

I call things as I see them. And I’ve not always seen things very positive under the new ownership. But right now, in this moment we are in, things are certainly looking positive, so I will call that.

Let’s see where we are at the end of next season though and what we do the rest of this window before I can tell you that Chelsea are fully back!
