Venti will get several buffs in Genshin Impact 6.2, according to leaks, as part of an effort from developer HoYoverse to revisit certain characters and make them synergize better with at least one of the new characters. According to the next update’s leaks, several older characters related to the Hexenzirkel will get some buffs to make them usable in 2025, which will be known as the Hexerei faction in Genshin Impact.
Based on the leaks, this will happen alongside the release of Durin, who will also be a member of this faction. Like regional characters, these Hexerei units will allegedly unlock bonuses when paired up together, and these bonuses for older units will come in the form of buffs. There had been leaks about buffs to Mona in Genshin Impact, for example, but this has now been confirmed and expanded upon with the ongoing beta tests.
Venti Is Getting Buffs In Genshin Impact 6.2
The Anemo Character Will Get More Aggressive In Combat
According to Venti’s renewed entry on Honey Hunter World, he will be one of the older characters with the largest number of buffs. As seen in the leaks, Venti’s Normal Attacks will change if the team’s Hexerei effect is active with the presence of two Hexerei characters. The leak says that while the Stormeye created by his Burst is active, Venti gains extra buffs.
His Normal Attacks are converted into enemy-piercing Windsunder Arrows, which deal extra Anemo DMG to opponents along the path. Furthermore, when his Windsunder Arrows hit opponents, the duration of Stormeye is increased by 1 second, and its cooldown is increased by 0.5 seconds, an effect that can be triggered once every 0.1 seconds and up to 2 times after each Burst usage.
The next big leaked buff to Venti’s kit is a new Passive Talent, which activates when there are two Hexerei characters in the team. With it, while the Stormeye created by his Burst is active, for 4 seconds after a nearby active character triggers a Swirl reaction, that character’s DMG is increased by 50%, and Venti’s Stormeye deals 135% of its original DMG.
Much like the other Hexerei characters that will synergize with Durin in Genshin Impact, namely Albedo, Mona, Klee, Razor, Sucrose, and Fischl, Venti will also get buffs to his Constellation levels. In addition to its regular effects, his C1 will see that 2 extra arrows that track opponents will be fired per Windsunder Arrow, each dealing 20% of the original arrow’s DMG.
Venti’s buffed C2 will help reset his Skill’s cooldown when he unleashes his Burst. After a Windsunder Arrow hits an enemy, there’s a chance for Venti to gain the Wherever a Breeze Blows effect, which makes his next Skill usage deal 300% of the original DMG, an effect that lasts for 15 seconds.
His leaked C4 changes, granting him and his active party members 25% Anemo DMG Bonus for 10 seconds after he unleashes his Skill or Burst. Lastly, his C6 gets a buff, seeing that the opponents who receive an Anemo RES shred from his C6’s Burst effect will also take a 100% CRIT DMG Bonus from Venti’s DMG.
Venti Should Become A Powerful DPS In Genshin Impact 6.2
The Character Can Deal More Damage Than Ever
Based on his leaked buffs, which are backed by Venti’s leaked new signature weapon, it seems like the 5-star Anemo character is not only getting stronger as a sub-DPS but being tailored as a possible main DPS in team comps.
As the very first premium 5-star character, this is a massive improvement for Venti, who may rerun in the leaked Version 6.2 banners. If you haven’t used Venti in a while or have never pulled for him because he had been powercrept, this may be a new age for him in Genshin Impact.
