The United States Women’s National Team has loaded up the early part of their schedule. Today, U.S. Soccer announced the 2025 SheBelieves Cup, and it will see the tournament return to a 3-match round robin format. The USWNT will compete against Japan, Australia, and Colombia in the tournament.
The USWNT, #1 in the FIFA world rankings, will open the tournament against 21st ranked Colombia on February 20th at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, with the match kicking off at 8:00pm ET. They then move to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona to face 15th ranked Australia on February 23rd at 5:00pm ET. They complete the tournament at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on February 26th as they host 7th ranked Japan, with that kickoff set for 10:30pm ET.
“This will be my first SheBelieves Cup, but I’ve followed the tournament, and it always produces close games between top teams,” said head coach Emma Hayes in a statement. “All four of these teams were in the last World Cup and Olympics, and all are in the building process to qualify for the next World Cup, so to get three games against talented teams and players in a format that replicates group play at a world championship is valuable in our process. All the games will be great tests for the teams and fun for all the fans.”
