USA vs. Haiti, 2025 Gold Cup: Predicting the madness

The United States Men’s National Team close out the group stage at the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup tonight against Haiti. The USMNT know they’re already through to the knockout stage, but want to head to the quarterfinals as Group D winners. They do that with a win or draw against Les Grenadiers.

The U.S. are once again favorites to beat Haiti, as the odds say they have a 65.5% chance (-190) to win. However, Haiti is normally a tough out, and they need a win to have any chance of advancing out of the group. That will mean they will fight for every opportunity they can to beat the United States and hope that Trinidad & Tobago can defeat Saudi Arabia.

The USMNT, having already qualified for the knockout stage, could finally see some lineup rotation after head coach Mauricio Pochettino used the same starters for the first two matches. With this being the 3rd game in 8 days, it would make sense to see if some other guys will get a chance to show they can be dependable for the later rounds. However, with the team having not conceded a goal yet at the Gold Cup, it could be easy for Pochettino to continue to go with the same starting XI and not rock the boat.

Predictions: The USMNT will win this game to close out a perfect group stage. FanDuel is offering a Gold Cup No Sweat Bet again for this match, so we can still step outside of the box with some of these predictions. Check out something like Tim Ream to score (+950) or for the game to have more than 5.5 goals (+650). Or, if you really want to swing for the fences, predict Miles Robinson to score the first goal of the game (+2800) and really aim for something special.
