The Witcher fans have a lot to be excited about, with a rumored The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt official DLC possibly in the works for a 2026 release and players keeping their fingers crossed for a surprise announcement. CD Projekt Red have also clearly been busy on The Witcher 4 development, which fans are obviously quite eager to learn more about as well.
In the meantime, however, there are some brand-new Witcher releases from CD Projekt Red that probably slipped under your radar. Starting in March 2026, The Witcher fans will be getting several new releases, as CD Projekt Red rolls out a whole lineup of new gear this year (via CDPR).
CD Projekt Red Drops New Witcher Gear In March
CD Projekt Red currently have numerous items on pre-order at their official store, all slated to release for direct purchase starting in March 2026. The new wave of official Witcher merchandise and collectibles includes several unique The Witcher 4 items, such as a “No Gods Only Monsters” crew-neck sweater; a Lynx hoodie, beanie, and tee-shirt; a Witcher 4 logo snapback hat; and several other Witcher 4-themed releases.
Further, CD Projekt Red have listed a unique The Witcher-themed set of whiskey stones that are currently available for pre-order but are slated to release in June (via CDPR). They’re a great collectible item and feature the iconic Witcher signs (i.e., Igni, Quen, Aard, etc.).
Fans of the franchise are also looking forward to this week’s launch of Reigns: The Witcher, a new Reigns collab between CDPR and Nerial that drops on iOS, Android, PC, and Mac on February 25. And while these 2026 releases aren’t quite as exciting as a brand-new Witcher 3 DLC expansion, fans will still want to check them out.
When Will CDPR Announce The Witcher 3 DLC?
The Witcher 3 fans are largely convinced that an official Witcher 3 DLC is going to drop out of the blue sometime this year. The thinking is that CDPR may want to go full steam ahead on the hype train, and introducing a DLC that bridges the gap between The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Witcher 4 would be a genius move.
With an expected 2027 or (at latest) 2028 launch of The Witcher 4, fans are praying that the rumored DLC could release sometime in 2026. While the year is still young, the lack of any official confirmation about a The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt DLC from CDPR doesn’t instill much confidence. That said, fans will keep their fingers crossed for an announcement, hopefully sooner rather than later.
