Secret Level executive producers Tim Miller and Dave Wilson have teased potential season 2 games, and what they’d like to see in the anthology’s future. Streaming on Prime Video, Secret Level remakes video games for the small screen, presenting titles from Armored Core to Pac-Man in new ways that still honor their source material. As of writing, eight episodes have been released, with plans for the remaining seven to be released December 17, 2024. The show follows Prime Video’s successful adaptation of Fallout earlier this year, marking a new era of game adaptations for the streaming platform.




Speaking with Screen Rant‘s Liam Crowley, Miller and Wilson discussed their ideas for a potential Secret Level season 2, explaining what games they’d like to bring into the anthology series. Wilson mentioned a possible episode about Pong, with Miller adding it could be “equally disturbing” as the show’s unique Pac-Man episode. Crowley also suggested a potential Fortnite episode, which the executive producers were receptive to. Check out what Miller and Wilson had to say below:


Liam Crowley:
I think you’re safe based on this show. I know some properties were left on the cutting room floor. When Season 2 comes around, because I know this thing’s going to get the green light for more, what’s the one that you want to make sure makes the cut?


Tim Miller:
Man, there’s so many. There’s so many.


Dave Wilson:
The one I know I want to do is if we can figure out a way, the sort of granddaddy of all video games, is I need to find a way to make a Pong episode. I don’t know what it will be-


Tim Miller:
But it could be equally disturbing as Pac-Man.


Liam Crowley:
I’m just holding out hope for a Fortnite episode. Maybe we can get that down the line. The lore is expansive.


Tim Miller:
That’s like the Moby Dick of video games.


Dave Wilson:
We love those guys. We worked a lot with ’em.

What Miller & Wilson’s Statement Means For The Future Of Secret Level

The Pair Have Ideas About How To Incorporate Other Games

Miller created both Secret Level and Love, Death & Robots, an ongoing anthology series on Netflix for which season 4 is currently in development. His track record proves that, if he and Wilson have strong ideas on where to take their video game series, more episodes could happen in the future. Since their ideas could be pulled from decades of gaming history, anything from Pong to Fortnite is possible. Since they’ve already included Epic Games’ Unreal Tournament it opens the door for their popular battle royale, while Pong‘s history makes it equally viable.
