FX’s The Bear gave people a no-holds-barred look inside the world of restaurants and the service industry, like an Anthony Bourdain exposé revealing how stressful the industry actually is. But, as much as the series inspired a passion for food within its dedicated fan base, its stressful and chaotic tone can be off-putting to some. For those who want a viewing experience that appreciates food just as much, if not more, without the swearing, screaming, throwing pots and pans, and overall depressing tone about grief, then the original love-letter movie to food has once again become a hit on streaming. That’s right, we’re talking about the OG of culinary cinema (with the hardest to spell title of all-time), Ratatouille.
Ratatouille is currently streaming on Disney+, and, like a reheated microwave meal, the film is back for a second serving. Audiences are filling their faces with the beloved 2007 animated movie, as it is currently 10th on Disney+’s weekly streaming chart. Co-directed by animation legend Brad Bird (The Incredibles) and Jan Pinkava (Geri’s Game), Ratatouille helped millions of people fall in love with cooking and food, without setting off chefs’ PTSD like The Bear has. The movie is one of Disney Pixar’s most beloved animated classics, boasting a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and winning an Oscar for Best Animated Film in 2008, alongside several other nominations.

‘The Bear’ Returns for Season 4 This Month
After Ratatouille has given you a brief respite from the stress of the kitchen, The Bear is coming back for its fourth anxiety-filled season later this month. Jeremy Allen White returns as Carmy Berzatto, having finally opened his dream restaurant, the eponymous The Bear. Although the restaurant is open, everything is against the staff at The Bear, which comprises Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), Marcus (Lionel Boyce), and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach).
Over the past three seasons, The Bear has built a die-hard fan base, and fans cannot wait for the fourth season to get served up on Hulu on June 25. Season 4 will run for 10 episodes. Just like with past seasons, all 10 episodes will release at once on June 25. Rumors have circulated online that Season 4 will bring The Bear to a close, but this hasn’t been confirmed by FX or the show’s creator, Christopher Storer.
