‘Spy x Family Returns in Season 3 Teaser Trailer

After nearly two years of anticipation, Spy x Family is finally set to return to television later this year. The Forger family will be back with more mayhem than ever, if the latest teaser trailer is any indication. Spy x Family Code: White gave fans a big-budget break from the episodic action comedy, but it is about time for the anime to make its Season 3 debut.

A new teaser trailer for Spy x Family Season 3 makes it official: fans will be back in the treacherous and hilarious world of spies this October. An official premiere date was not revealed, but if it follows a similar pattern to Season 2, expect Spy x Family to return within the first weeks of October. As teased in the new footage, the season will include Anya, Yor and Loid Forger back in action as spies in disguise, but it seems a major revelation from the manga will finally be covered by the anime. Although viewers have received hints about Twilight’s (Loid) origins, Spy x Family Season 3 will directly address how and why he became a world-class spy. A younger version of the character is seen holding a rifle in full military gear, an overt nod to his time spent in the war. Of course, other questions will remain unanswered (and probably will for a while), like if Yor and Loid will finally reveal their true identities to each other, or if Anya’s supernatural abilities will be found out by her adoptive family.
