Fancy Arsenal to go on a winning run and cruise to the Premier League title? Or maybe you think Sunderland will continue to defy the pre-season predictions and survive in the top flight.
If you’re dead-set on either of those scenarios playing out then it’s worth checking out the latest points market on Spreadex.

TITLE WINNERS
Arsenal are tipped to go on and win the league – and finally give Mikel Arteta a second major trophy – but with the lowest points total since Leicester City’s shock triumph in 2016.
The Gunners are priced at between 81.5-83 which given they already have 16 points after seven games is enticing. If they maintain that same pace, Arsenal will finish on approximately 87 points.
Liverpool secured the crown with 84 points last season but that was seemingly an outlier.
The title winners before Arne Slot’s side were:
2024 – Man City (91 points)
2023 – Man City (89 points)
2022 – Man City (93 points)
2021 – Man City (86 points)
2020 – Liverpool (99 points)
2019 – Man City (98 points)
2018 – Man City (100 points)
2017 – Chelsea (93 points)
2016 – Leicester City (81 points)
SpreadEx have Liverpool as second favourites with a spread of 77-78.5 points. The Merseysiders’ average points tally between 2016/17 and 2024/25 is 82.3.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PLACES
The scramble for the Champions League places will be as intense as ever. We don’t yet know whether the Premier League will get four or five spots, or potentially even six as in the 2025/26 campaign.
The usual suspects are priced as you’d expect but Newcastle’s inclusion in fifth place is interesting given their slow start to the season.
Their points spread is 59-60.5 despite the fact they have only accumulated nine from seven games so far.
Bournemouth are not fancied to maintain their impressive form.
RELEGATION DOGFIGHT
In the last two seasons, the three promoted clubs have gone straight back down.
However, Spreadex are backing Leeds and Sunderland to buck that trend. They aren’t convinced by the Wearsiders’ form so far, though.
Sunderland, under the shrewd leadership of Regis Le Bris, have taken 11 points from their opening seven games but Spreadex have priced them at finishing with between 36.5-38. Sunderland look physically strong and defensively well organised so there is definitely value there.
Leeds are tipped to do even better. Their form at Elland Road will be crucial to their survival hopes with Spreadex confident they will get between 41-42.5 points.
That leaves Burnley, Wolves and West Ham as the fall-guys.
It’s impossible to argue with the logic. Burnley appear to have learned little from previous failed attempts at staying up while Wolves are without a win thus far.
West Ham will likely to put up a better fight under Nuno Espirito Santo.
