According to Fichajes, Real want Liverpool star Mac Allister to replace their ageing legend Luka Modric during the summer window. The Spanish giant are willing to pay around €90 million (£70m) for the Argentina international, hoping that it is enough.
Liverpool have no intention of selling their midfield star, who plays a pivotal role for them alongside midfielder Ryan Gravenberch. Liverpool fans adore Mac Allister and the Argentine has already addressed the transfer rumour involving him and the Spanish club.
Mac Allister told TyC Sports (via beIN Sports) that he is happy at Liverpool and doesn’t feel the need to go anywhere. He said:
“I read the rumors and I hear the news, but the present is what matters. Even if a club wants me, if I have a bad game on the weekend, they’ll lose interest. I’m happy at Liverpool and I don’t feel the need to go anywhere. I’ve got a lot of respect for the club and don’t think it’s right to be talking about other teams,”
Mac Allister played a crucial role for Liverpool in securing their 20th league title this season under Arne Slot. The Reds have already outlined their ambition and desire to compete for every major trophy next season.
