To wrap up the holiday season and 2024, Pokémon TCG Pocket introduced a new event to reward players. With more and more events being added to the game, there are constant opportunities to gain more cards and materials. The event also provides players with some holiday price changes to the shop, so now is the best time to grab those packs of Gold you may have been considering. As of late, the generosity of Pokémon TCG Pocket with free gifts may be hinting at more events for 2025.

With the release of the new Mythical Island mini-set, Pokémon TCG Pocket has provided ways for trainers to claim extra materials to save for new boosters. Much like the recent Holiday Countdown Campaign, the latest event generously provides extra Pack Hourglasses to spend on the brand-new set. Those looking for more opportunities to collect cards from Mythical Island should pay attention to this event, as Pack Hourglasses are not the only rewards available to be claimed but packs from the set as well.

The Holiday Event Will Last Until The End Of The Year

The Pokémon TCG Pocket Holiday Event will end on December 31, 2024, at 9:59 PST, with log-in rewards being available from December 25 until the end of the year. You can log into the game anytime between now and the ending date to receive rewards, which are automatically sent to your gifts. There is no in-game feature that shows you which days provide which rewards, so just keep an eye on your gifts every time you log in for the first time each day.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket’s next set of events have allegedly leaked, with some major giveaways and rewards in store for players in January.

Aside from log-in rewards, there’s also an update to the shop for the Pokémon TCG Pocket 2024 Holiday event. There are new selections under Reduced Price Poké Gold in the Purchase Poké Gold exclusive to the Holiday Event which provides options for reduced prices for Poké Gold, alongside additional non-paid Gold for each pack you will obtain for free. These will be available until past the New Year, with the sale ending on January 8, 2025. This part of the event goes past the rewards dates, so there is currently no rush for those looking to purchase more Poké Gold.

Free Pack Hourglasses & Mythical Island Packs Are Being Handed Out

The missions to complete for the Pokémon TCG Pocket Holiday 2024 event are simply logging into the game every day until December 31. Completing the missions will lead to additional rewards as well, like the Winter Holiday Frame for completing one and even more Pack Hourglasses for completing four. The main log-in rewards are plenty of Pack Hourglasses, which are enough to immediately be redeemed, and packs of Mythical Island. In total, there are 4 Mythical Island packs and 36 Pack Hourglasses across the seven days of the event.

With plenty of rewards for the end of the year, Pokémon TCG Pocket players can look forward to this current Holiday Event. It gives more opportunities to open packs of Mythical Island and plenty of Pack Hourglasses to either spend or save.
