Pete Davidson Hosting Netflix Podcast From His Garage

Pete Davidson is taking another bold swing with his unique new Netflix show. The former Saturday Night Live star is headed back to the streaming service that has hosted the comedian’s stand-up specials in the past, with film projects also being made available on Netflix, like The King of Staten Island. Davidson’s latest outing is aptly titled The Pete Davidson Show, and it will take place in his garage. The series will be a video podcast, with Netflix noting in a statement (via Variety):

“The Pete Davidson Show will see the comedian sitting down with his famous friends for revealing conversations from the comfort of his garage.”

The show will hit Netflix starting Jan. 30, with episodes being released weekly. The Pete Davidson Show is part of several podcast series that Netflix is working to bring exclusively to the streaming service. They have been partnering with well-known names in podcasting, like Spotify and iHeartMedia, to deliver unique entertainment that can compete with YouTube, with other shows already announced, including Michael Irvin’s The White House.

Davidson has produced two stand-up comedy specials for Netflix: 2020’s Alive From New York and 2024’s Turbo Fonzarelli. The SNL alum appreciates Netflix’s contribution to his comedy, and while no official guests were announced, Davidson promised the podcast would “be a great time.”

“Netflix was the home of one of my first stand-up specials, so it felt right to bring the podcast there, too. It’s me and my friends talking about anything and everything. It’s going to be a great time.”
