An official Newcastle United injury update on Tuesday.
Eddie Howe talking to journalists.
A victory on Wednesday would be a perfect follow up to the wins over Benfica and Fulham.
It is actually four wins in five games in all competitions for United, five wins in six and progress to the last eight of the cup would be even better…

Pointers as to availability for this Spurs match and beyond.
Official Newcastle United injury update from Eddie Howe – 28 October 2025:
Sven Botman
The Dutch defender was forced off on Saturday after a clash of heads.
Eddie Howe this morning has revealed that Botman didn’t train on Monday and the plan is for the medical department to see how he is today.
The NUFC boss confirmed there was no concussion but that Sven Botman had a nasty cut that needed stapled. So the defender is a doubt for Tottenham.
Tino Livramento target Man City (Nov 22)
Yoane Wissa on track early/mid Nov
Eddie Howe on Lewis Hall
This morning Eddie Howe says that Spurs is too soon for the left-back but that Sunday at West Ham could see Hall return
Eddie Howe on Tino Livramento
Decent news on Tino, with Eddie Howe saying that Man City at home is pencilled in for hopefully his return to the matchday squad. That game is three weeks on Saturday (22 November).
Yoane Wissa
The head coach looking at early November to mid-November for the striker to be finally available. Eddie Howe last week indicated though that when Wissa is finally available, he will be carefully managing the player’s time on the pitch, as he has played no club football since May.
