An official EFL announcement has confirmed the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw.
The announcement (see below) on Tuesday giving the details.
The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw will be made on Wednesday night.
That draw to be made after the conclusion of the Newcastle v Spurs game, which is scheduled to be the last one to be completed of the fourth round.
That Newcastle v Spurs match kicks off at 8pm tomorrow night.
That game at St James’ Park is one of five Carabao Cup fourth round ties to be played on Wednesday, with ahead of that, the other three ties tonight.
If any of the fourth round matches are tied after 90 minutes, there is no 30 minutes of extra time played, it is straight to a penalty shootout.

Official EFL announcement – Carabao Cup quarter-final draw confirmed – 28 October 2025:
‘Round Four of the Carabao Cup kicks off this evening with eight ties scheduled to take place across Tuesday, 28 and Wednesday, 29 October.
The draw for the Quarter-Final will take place live at the conclusion of Newcastle United’s Round Four tie against Tottenham Hotspur on Sky Sports Main Event on Wednesday, 29 October.
Sky Sports presenter Mark Chapman will host the draw at approximately 10:30 pm alongside pundits Jamie Redknapp and Jobi McAnuff.
Ball numbers for the draw will be finalised on the morning of Wednesday, 29 October and published on EFL channels.
Round Five ties will take place on the week commencing 15 December.’
