Official: Barcelona unveil their away kit for 2025/26 season

FC Barcelona have officially revealed their away kit for the 2025/26 season, and it is unlike anything fans have seen before. 

Created in collaboration with Kobe Bryant’s brand through Nike, the kit blends Barça’s footballing identity with the iconic “Mamba Mentality” that defined the late basketball legend’s career.

The unveiling was done through a stylish concept video titled “Mamba Rondo”, highlighting the symbolic rondo, a fundamental part of Barcelona’s training that emphasises quick thinking, possession, and unity. 

The video features prominent names from both the men’s and women’s squads, including Alejandro Balde, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, Alexia Putellas, Salma Paralluelo, and more. 

Design inspired by the Black Mamba

The new away shirt comes in a striking Team Gold tone, accented with Persian violet and black, a tribute to the colours worn by Kobe Bryant during his legendary years in the NBA.

At the heart of the design is the Kobe Sheath logo, which appears in a sleek, snakeskin-textured finish with 3D silicone relief. 

The Spotify sponsor remains front and centre in black, while sleeve sponsors vary: the Ambilight logo for the men’s kit and the Bimbo logo for the women’s kit, both also in black.

The shorts complement the shirt with a black base, Persian violet accents, and a subtle snakeskin-style print—again nodding to Kobe’s “Black Mamba” persona. 

The Barça badge sits on the left leg, while the Kobe Sheath logo appears on the right leg, just below the player’s number, which is rendered in Team Gold. 

Finishing off the look, the socks are black with the word “Barça” boldly written in violet.

This kit doesn’t just celebrate sports, it merges two cultures, two legacies, and one shared mentality. The 2025/26 away kit is more than just a jersey – it is a tribute to greatness.
