OFC appoints TGI Sport as its commercial partner

December 5 – The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) has partnered with TGI Sport to expand its commercial programme across all competitions – including the inaugural OFC Professional League (OFC Pro League).

The agreement, announced this week, reflects OFC’s aim to transition from piecemeal sponsorships towards a more co-ordinated and sustainable commercial framework.

OFC says the strategy will strengthen every level of the confederation’s football pyramid – from youth and development competitions to flagship tournaments – while deepening engagement with fans across the region.

Foundational partners are being sought as part of a long-term plan to elevate matchday experience, enhance player pathways, and support Member Associations.

TGI Sport’s appointment as the OFC’s commercial agency comes at a time when OFC is preparing for its first continental professional league, a competition intended to raise standards across the region and eventually provide a route to the expanded FIFA Club World Cup.

TGI Sport will refine commercial assets, lead market engagement and drive partner acquisition across the confederation’s entire portfolio.

Tony Box, Managing Director, TGI Sport Australia, said:
“OFC delivers some of the most exciting and diverse football competitions in the world… From major tournaments to the inaugural OFC Pro League, there is enormous opportunity to create meaningful connections with fans throughout the Pacific.”

For a region overshadowed on the world stage, TGI Sport is tasked with building a commercial programme that will contribute to more competitive teams internationally.

OFC General Secretary Franck Castillo described the deal as a structural milestone for the confederation: “This partnership with TGI Sport is a significant milestone for OFC as we strengthen the commercial foundations of all our competitions and programmes. Their global expertise and experience working with major international sports properties will help us unlock new value for the entire OFC portfolio – from elite competitions to our game-changing initiatives like the OFC Pro League. Together, we are building a more sustainable, more impactful football ecosystem that will serve our Member Associations and communities for generations.”
