The draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup was made in the last few moments.
After overcoming Bournemouth on penalties following a 3-3 draw over 120 minutes on Saturday, Newcastle United have been handed a trip to Premier League rivals Aston Villa.
Villa currently sit third in the Premier League, level on points with Man City in second and only six behind top of the table Arsenal.
Fourth round ties will be played on the 14th and 15th of February, falling between our trip to Spurs on Tuesday 10th and a potential Champions League first-leg playoff game on Tuesday 17th or Wednesday 18th of February.
This ensures another busy month ahead for Eddie Howe’s Mags, with February also featuring our semi-final second leg away to Man City, a trip to the Etihad in the league, along with home games against Brentford and Everton.
