‘My Fault: London’ Ending, Explained

‘My Fault: London’ Ending, Explained

It doesn’t always happen that the wishes of an entire fandom come true, but readers of the Culpa Mía trilogy by Mercedes Ron were just granted one. The forbidden enemies-to-lovers romance novel series, which is one of the biggest Wattpad and TikTok sensations, was adapted into a Spanish movie in 2023, and was only recently followed by the second one, Culpa Tuya. To its English-speaking fans’ delight, an English reboot of the romance movie, My Fault: London, directed by Dani Girdwood, was released on Prime Video on February 13.

Following Noah as she has to move to a new country with her mother in order to live in her stepfather’s massive mansion, the movie centers on the forbidden love developing between her and her step-brother, Nick. With Noah’s real father in prison and leaving her with nothing but the trauma from his violent nature and the memories of their shared love for racing, Nick’s involvement in fighting and racing is throwing her into a whirlwind, but she can’t help falling in love with him. Apart from the difficulties of hiding their relationship, Noah’s dad is released from prison and quite literally hunts her down. Without further ado, let’s get into the ending of My Fault: London.

Everyone’s life is turned upside down in My Fault: London, when Noah is abducted by Ronnie and brought to her father. Freshly out of prison, Travis is all about the money and doesn’t care whether someone, even his own daughter, gets hurt. The attempt to save Noah turns into a chaotic car chase, in which Travis has Noah at gunpoint and forces her to lose Nick, who is speeding up behind them. Scenes like this are the reason why My Fault: London was slammed as an amateur Fast & Furious movie, but the movie apparently did something right, because it is currently at the top of the charts on Prime Video.

It is almost inevitable that the chase ends in an accident, but Travis is dedicated to continuing his escape on foot, taking Noah at gunpoint once again. However, Noah manages to escape and runs towards an injured Nick, but a gun is fired. While it seemed as though Noah was the target, Travis was actually shot by the arriving police, and, considering that he was lying on the ground, motionless, it is safe to say that he died right then and there. In particular, when looking at the second installment of the original Spanish movie, it is clear that Travis did, in fact, not survive.

Does Nick Die in ‘My Fault: London’?

Dedicated to getting to Noah, Nick makes his way towards the noise, but is attacked by Ronnie from behind. The two are caught in a fist fight, but Ronnie pulls out a knife and eventually manages to stab Nick in the stomach. Even such a drastic injury can’t keep him from Noah though, as he knocks him out cold, and gets in his car to follow Noah and Travis.

During that intense car chase, both Nick and Noah show some serious skills, as they are going through narrow alleys and drifting around corners. Obviously, Nick’s goal is to somehow stop Noah and her father, but his actions put him in immense danger. In order to force them to a halt, he takes a shortcut and ends up blocking a road with his car. Noah and Travis fully hit him, causing his car to flip over. Already critically injured by the stab wound, Nick is hurt even more after the accident, and passes out.

Prime Video’s Number 1 Movie Has Just 19% on Rotten Tomatoes

Set on the gorgeous Greek island of Crete, the thriller Killer Heat is a classic whodunit mystery that has become a critical dud but streaming stud.

It is important to remember that the movie is based on the source material and the Spanish movies, so looking at the sequel Culpa Tuya, it is clear that Nick is here to stay. Nick’s fate is unclear until Noah and her friends, as well as her mother and stepfather, are having a pool day, and suddenly, Nick appears. His scar from the stab wound is still visible, but he is up and healthy.

Are Nick and Noah Dating?

It is needless to say that Nick and Noah love each other. She literally drove at high-speed through the narrowest alleys in order to keep her father from trying to shoot at Nick and his car, while Nick risked his life by taking a knife and even stopping them by getting hit himself. Of course, the two started their relationship as enemies, hating on each other whenever they could, but they unexpectedly formed an interest in each other through different extremes. Their hot-temperament either causes them to drift apart or grow even closer, but the connection between them is simply undeniable.

Some might frown at their relationship, since they are step-siblings. My Fault: London is one of those movies about forbidden love, that’s for sure. They obviously aren’t truly related, yet their parents would never approve of them dating. At the end of the movie, despite all their ups and downs, Nick and Noah are undoubtedly still dating, as she asks him if they are actually doing this and, as an answer, they share a kiss after everyone leaves.

Will There be a ‘My Fault: London 2’?

The ending of My Fault: London leaves fans with the desire to see how the relationship between Nick and Noah might develop. Considering that the movie is a direct reboot of the original Culpa Mía, which was one of the worst movies on Prime Video, but it still had a sequel, Culpa Tuya, and it is expected to have a third movie, Culpa Nuestra, to be released as well, the continuation of the English reboot is certainly possible. There haven’t been any specific updates yet, but the release of the Spanish counterparts might be a good sign for My Fault: London 2. My Fault: London is available to stream on Prime Video.
