MobLand is a star-studded British crime drama by director/producer Guy Ritchie debuting on Paramount+ on March 30, 2025. Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Dame Helen Mirren headline the series, which began as an American spin-off of Ray Donovan before moving overseas. The drama traces two of London’s most influential crime families vying for city control, with a fixer named Harry Da Souza becoming the key link between them.
With 10 episodes slated between March 30 and June 1, MobLand will air the first two episodes upon the debut, followed by weekly episodes every Sunday. In addition to recognizing actors like Geoff Bell from Ritchie’s popular British crime movies, Peaky Blinders fans will spot familiar faces when MobLand premieres on Paramount+ next week. Here are the actors and principal cast members featured in MobLand.
Tom Hardy & Joanne Froggatt as Harry & Jan Da Souza
Tom Hardy (Venom, Mad Max: Fury Road) portrays Harry Da Souza in MobLand. Harry is a no-nonsense “fixer” who cleans up messy crime scenes for corrupt lawbreakers. Harry works for the Harrigan crime family in London and must protect them from rival gangs, including the fast-rising Stevenson family. Despite his immoral behavior and willingness to do criminals’ evil bidding, Harry is married to the mysterious Jan, played by Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey).
MobLand reunites Hardy with Guy Ritchie for the first time since RocknRolla in 2008. Hardy also reteams with Peaky Blinders‘ director Anthony Byrne after playing Alfie Solomon for nearly a decade on the hit British period crime drama. Since wrapping her role as Anna Bates/Smith on the international hit TV series Downton Abbey, Froggatt has starred in Bob the Builder, The Commons, Liar, The Harrowing, Angela Black, and more.
Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren Lead the Harrigan Family
Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan and The Queen Oscar-winner Dame Helen Mirren lead the Harrigan family as Conrad and Maeve Harrigan. The crime family heads recruit Harry Da Souza to protect their London empire, desperate to retain their powerful influence and continue their legacy through their children. Beyond 007, Brosnan is best known for Mamma Mia, Matador, and Mrs. Doubtfire, and can currently be seen in Steven Soderbergh’s Black Bag. Past her vast historical period movies, Dame Helen Mirren currently stars as Cara Dutton in Paramount+’s Yellowstone prequel, 1923.
In MobLand, the Harrigan family extends to Kevin Harrigan (Paddy Considine), his wife Bella Harrigan (Lara Pulver), and Kevin’s maverick son Eddie Harrigan (Anson Boon). Brendan Harrigan (Daniel Betts) is the eldest Harrigan son, while Conrad has a daughter from a previous marriage, Seraphina (Mandeep Dhillon).
Considine is a superb actor known for Peaky Blinders, House of the Dragon, and The Outsider. Pulver is a TV veteran seen in The Alienist, Da Vinci’s Demons, The Split, Maternal, and more. Boon’s credits include 1917, Crawl, Pistol, and Widow Cliquot. Betts is known for Here, Gentleman Jack, and The New Look. Dhillon can be seen in Peacock, CSI: Vegas, and Avoidance. Together, the stellar mix of young and experienced TV and movie performers will bring MobLand to life.
