Mayor Of Kingstown Will Never Be The Same After Season 4’s First Episode

Warning! This article contains SPOILERS for Mayor of Kingstown season 4, episode 1.

Mayor of Kingstown season 4 has kicked off with a bang as the premiere episode of the season has hugely altered the dynamics in the city. While things in Kingstown have never been peace and quiet, the balance relies on all the different gangs and groups following a set of unwritten rules.

And in the middle of all of these groups, Mike McLusky has stepped up to become the unelected ‘Mayor.’ A role which he uses to broker power and peace talks whenever possible. But despite major conflicts resolving in Mayor of Kingstown season 3, season 4 could be the most chaotic yet for Kingstown.

With Milo Dead, Feuds In Kingstown Could Die Down

Between the cops, the Aryan Brotherhood, the Russians, and the Crips, there is a lot of conflict within the confines of the city. However, Mike has been able to negotiate terms where each group usually stays in their lanes, and avoids pushing too hard against the status quo.

One of the biggest threats to that balance previously was the Russians, as their ambitions were larger than Kingstown, and they viewed themselves as being above the small town squabbles that were happening there. However, when Milo arrived on the scene, he developed an intense hatred towards Mike McLusky.

This led to the Russians making big moves, and in-fighting in the organization with Milo and Konstantin in perpetual conflict. The Mayor of Kingstown season 3 finale could have put an end to this with both Konstantin and Milo being killed, clearing the path for the local groups to resume control of their territories.

While it would be the most straightforward thing for all the groups to fall in line and let Mike draw the boundaries that will keep the community safe, Mayor of Kingstown season 4 has made it infinitely more challenging to get to a state of peace with the arrival of several new characters and challenges.

A new gang, led by the mysterious Frank Moses, has arrived in Kingstown ready to lay claim to a part of the territory after the Russians fell. A new warden, Nina Hobbs, has also arrived at Anchor Bay with ambitious dreams of cleaning up the prison. And with Kyle being sent to prison, Mike’s focus has never been more divided.

To make matters worse, it appears as though the Assistant District Attorney, Evelyn Foley, had a hand in sending Kyle to prison, which means Mike is now in conflict with the DA’s office. All of this could spell certain disaster for Kingstown and the delicate balance in Mayor of Kingstown season 4.
