Mancini and Ferguson expected to recover for Milan clash

This afternoon, Roma returned to training at Trigoria following their victory over Stuttgart.

As is customary after every match, those who started the match performed a warm-down session.

Those who didn’t play or came on during the match were back on the pitch as normal to begin preparing for the match against AC Milan.

Good news for Gian Piero Gasperini regarding Gianluca Mancini.

The defender, who suffered a serious hamstring injury yesterday, is not a cause for concern.

He trained regularly with his teammates at the “Fulvio Bernardini” stadium and is expected to start against the Rossoneri.

Evan Ferguson’s condition, however, is also not a cause for concern, as he suffered a bruise against the Germans.

Ferguson and Mancini are expected to be called up for Sunday evening’s match against AC Milan at 8:45 PM.

Stephan El Shaarawy, who trained separately at Trigoria today, remains a doubt.

Mario Hermoso and Artem Dovbyk are out.

Compared to recent weeks, Gasperini will therefore be able to count on a larger squad for one of the two big matches on Serie A’s Matchday 22. The other will be the Juventus-Napoli match, scheduled for Sunday at 6:00 PM.
