Ally McCoist has advised LIVERPOOL to replace Mohamed Salah with Jarrod Bowen as rumours continue to swirl that the Egyptian star will leave the club at the end of the season as a new deal cannot be agreed.
Despite the season that Liverpool and Salah are having right now, alot of the headlines in the media are surrounding the little winger and his future as the Reds have been working hard on trying to keep hold of their star man.
However – talks have not progressed like many would have hoped for, and there is now a real possibility that Salah can agree a move away from Liverpool in the January window as he is able to hold talks with clubs outside the Premier League about a move at the end of the season.
There has been many teams linked with a move to Liverpool as a possible replacement for Salah, but now McCoist has now opened up and claimed that Bowen could be the ideal star to replace the Egyptian at Anfield, Speaking to talkSPORT BET, McCoist said: “Liverpool should replace Mohamed Salah with Jarrod Bowen if Salah was to leave.
‘West Ham fans won’t be very happy with me for saying it, he is top class. I really like Bowen. I see a lot of people making comments that he’s too good for West Ham, he’s not too good for West Ham because they’re a great club.
“He’s good enough to play Champions League football on a consistent basis though, that’s a fact. I really enjoy watching him and he could easily step into that team and play Champions League football.
‘My priority would be keeping Salah, of course, but if he were to move on Liverpool should look at Bowen.”

Look, Bowen has been linked with big moves in the past, he has been tipped to leave the Hammers, but he has shown no desire to leave the club and leave London, he is very happy.
He could be a great replacement for Salah, but it would take something special for him to uproot his family from their beloved Hammers
ALEXANDER-ARNOLD WILL LEAVE
Pundit Ally McCoist has opened up and claimed that he believes Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave LIVERPOOL at the end of the season and make that move to Real Madrid, after the Spaniards notified the Reds they wanted to get a transfer deal done.

Alexander-Arnold has been criticized for many of his defensive displays during his time at the club , but that doesnt hide the fact that he is still one of the very best players in his position.
The England star has been the subject of much speculation amid rumours of a new contract at Anfield and interest from Real Madrid, but it seems that the Reds have no desire to let the man leave in the next few transfer windows.
According to recent reports on talkSPORT, Madrid have already informed the Reds of their intent to pursue Alexander-Arnold as a free agent. While the Spanish club are not legally required to declare their interest – since Alexander-Arnold will be eligible to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs in January – it is understood that they aim to handle the situation with respect to Liverpool.
McCoist has now weighed in on the situation, saying that he believes Alexander-Arnold will not be a Liverpool player in the summer: “I think Trent Alexander-Arnold will be at Real Madrid next season. I hate to say it because I like to see the world’s best players staying in the Premier League and he is one of those.
‘I think if he were to stay, he and Liverpool would’ve come to an agreement over a contract before now to secure his future at the club and the fact he hasn’t makes me think that Real Madrid is where he will be lining up next season.”

Look, LIVERPOOL have played most of the season without Trent Alexander-Arnold starting, Connor Bradley has been brilliant for the club, so if he does leave the club at the end of the season, he will be missed, but not as much as people believe.
Madrid is a massive move for the player to make and one that he would be unable to turn down, that is for sure.

Alisson Becker is the current first-choice stopper at Anfield, having helped the club win seven major trophies since his £67 million arrival from AS Roma in 2018, but there has been alot of speculation that he could leave the club at the end of the season, with a switch to thee Saudi Leagues speculated.
Caoimhin Kelleher has been in outstanding form while Alisson has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, but he knows that Mamardashvili has been brought into Liverpool to replace the Brazilian if he leaves the club, and there is alot of speculation that he could also leave the club at the end of the season.
But away from all that speculation, Georgia assistant coach David Webb believes that Mamardashvili has the character succeed when he joins Arne Slot’s side. Speaking to GiveMeSport, Webb said: “Giorgi just feels like a perfect fit for Liverpool.
“He’s an outstanding shot stopper. He commands his box. He’s very athletic, not only big but strong as well. And one of his best attributes, which I suppose Liverpool fans may not know, is his character.
‘He’s got a very, very strong character. He’s an extremely hard worker and is determined to get right to the top.
“Giorgi joined Valencia in 2021 as maybe their fourth or fifth choice keeper. They originally sent him to the reserves. Then, within a year, he was their number one and just about the most consistent keeper in La Liga.
‘Although he joined Valencia from Dinamo Tbilisi, he was on loan at Locomotive Tbilisi, a relatively small club in Georgia, before moving to Spain. To go from there to a regular La Liga starter in 12 months is quite incredible.
‘And part of that success is down to his character and mental resilience.”
