The Conjuring: Last Rites, a.k.a. The Conjuring 4, will be released on digital platforms in just a few days. Less than 45 days since its theatrical release, the concluding chapter of the all-mighty horror franchise will be available to stream at home on digital. Meaning the horror outing will be available to watch at home just in time for the beginning of the spooky season.
Warner Bros. has now revealed that The Conjuring: Last Rites will debut on Digital from October 7, 2025. The Studio also unveiled the release date for the physical release, and fans will be able to purchase The Conjuring: Last Rites on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 25. The special features confirmed for the digital release are:
- Last Rites: An Era Ends featurette (8:45)
- The Conjuring: Crafting Scares featurette (8:40)
- Michael Chaves: Believer featurette (7:04)
Aside from The Conjuring 4, fans of the franchise will also be able to digitally purchase a four-film “Conjuring timeline” collection on October 7. The nine-film collection of the entire Conjuring franchise will also be available for purchase the same day. As if this weren’t enough, these collections will also be released on physical box sets on November 25.
‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’ Is Now the Most Successful Entry in the Franchise
For now, The Conjuring: Last Rites will only be released on digital platforms for rent or purchase. The release date for subscription-based services is still to be determined. In the case of The Conjuring 4, the streamer will most likely be HBO Max, as this year they have premiered all Warner Bros. horror releases, including Sinners and Final Destination Bloodlines.
If we had to guess, The Conjuring 4 should be arriving on HBO Max roughly 70-plus days after its original theatrical release. Warner Bros. doesn’t beat around the bush and is quick with home releases. Most of their successful releases arrive on the streamer in a little over two months. Therefore, expect a November or December 2025 streaming release for The Conjuring 4 if things go well.
At $437 million in box office gross, The Conjuring: Last Rites has become the most successful entry in the franchise that’s also deemed the highest-grossing in horror history. It also broke the record for the highest-grossing opening day (and weekend) for a horror film. Though it provided an epic-like conclusion for the franchise, the critical reception was mixed. Our own Julian Roman reviewed The Conjuring: Last Rites, but felt the conclusion of the franchise was underwhelming and weak.
