Lady Gaga Wins Best Pop Vocal Album for Mayhem at 2026 Grammys

Lady Gaga has won the 2026 Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album for Mayhem. She nabbed the trophy over Justin Bieber (Swag), Miley Cyrus (Something Beautiful), Teddy Swims (I’ve Tried Everything but Therapy [Part 2]), and last year’s winner, Sabrina Carpenter (Man’s Best Friend).

“I’m honored to be up here,” Gaga said during her acceptance speech. “I’ve been making music since I was a little girl, and every time I’m here I still feel like I have to pinch myself. I respect everybody in this room so much. I have to say thank you first to my partner, Michael. I love you so much. You are by my side every single day in a way that I can’t thank you enough for. You worked so hard with me on this record all year. So, I love you and thank you. To Andrew Watt and to Cirkut—come closer! I never could have made this album without these guys. And Gesaffelstein, we are so, so grateful. I just want to say for women in music that I know sometimes when you’re in the studio with a bunch of guys it can be hard. So I urge you to always listen to yourself, always fight for your ideas, fight for your songs, fight for yourself as a producer, make sure that you are heard loudly. And thank you so much for supporting me, all of you, in my craft. I believe in discipline and hard work and craftsmanship, and that’s really what Mayhem is to me. Thank you.”

This marks Lady Gaga’s second Best Pop Vocal Album win. She took home the award for The Fame Monster way back in 2011. Lady Gaga picked up six additional nods for tonight’s ceremony: Album of the Year for Mayhem; Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Dance Pop Recording for “Abracadabra” (the last of which she won); Best Pop Solo Performance for “Disease”; and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Harlequin.
