Kumail Nanjiani has asserted that he is “very proud” of his performance in Marvel’s Eternals and that he “wouldn’t change anything” about the experience, even though he sought therapy after it. The film, which was released in 2021 as part of Phase Four of the MCU, failed both critically and commercially, making it one of the studio’s biggest bombs to date, but Nanjiani has defended the infamous flop, saying it reshaped his outlook on success and helped him to realize the importance of upholding “a joyful approach to every job.”
