Keanu Reeves is set to return to the John Wick franchise in a fifth installment, but he is also adding another exciting action project to his schedule. While Edge of Tomorrow fans will have to continue to wait indefinitely for a sequel, Reeves is tackling a similar premise with an acclaimed superhero movie director at the helm.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reeves is set to star in Shiver, a sci-fi action thriller from Deadpool director Tim Miller. The script, written by Ian Shorr (Infinite), has been compared to Edge of Tomorrow meets The Shallows. Read the plot description, as provided by THR:
Plot details are very hazy, but the word on the street is that the story centers on a ne’er-do-well smuggler who finds himself in the middle of a deadly double-cross while on a job in the Caribbean Sea, resulting in him surrounded by bodies, hostile mercenaries and thirsty sharks alike. He next finds himself a deathly time loop and scrambling to break the cycle.
