Jeremie Frimpong has been photographed running for the first time since his hamstring injury against Eintracht Frankfurt one month ago.

Jeremie Frimpong takes next step
Frimpong has been missing for Liverpool since limping off during the Reds’ 5-1 win at Frankfurt on October 22.
He is now on his way back, though, and has been pictured running outside at the AXA Training Centre on Friday.

While he wasn’t involved in team training, the sight of him running outdoors will come as a boost to Liverpool who are to be without fellow right-back Conor Bradley for the next three weeks.
However, we shouldn’t expect to see him back on the Anfield turf any time soon, with Arne Slot saying: “He’s not probably going to be available in the upcoming two or three weeks as well.”
Frimpong has missed seven games due to two injuries so far this season. At Bayer Leverkusen, he had missed just two matches since 2022 because of injury.

Talking about Diogo Jota’s song

Following Robertson’s emotional interview in which he talked about how he couldn’t get Diogo Jota off his mind, supporters have been pondering whether to continue singing Jota’s name in the 20th minute. Peter Bolster writes:
“The applause on 20 minutes has come from the same place: respect, heartbreak, and a need to show Diogo’s family and the players that the city is behind them.
“But grief doesn’t sit still. It moves. It hits you differently week to week. And sometimes the very thing that lifted you at the start can begin to land differently later on. That isn’t anyone’s fault. It’s just the reality and complexity of grief.
“When the 20th minute comes around, whatever escape football normally gives the players disappears.”
