Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to various airline loyalty programs — and one of our favorites is Iberia Club. It’s a relatively niche loyalty program for U.S.-based travelers, but it has some excellent redemption sweet spots for transatlantic flights.
And even if Iberia’s Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) hub isn’t your final destination, you can connect onward to other cities in Europe thanks to Iberia’s extensive route network.
Here, we’ll show you step-by-step how to transfer your Ultimate Rewards points to Club Iberia Plus, and end with a look at some of the best Iberia Club redemptions.
Can you transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Iberia Plus
Yes, you can transfer Ultimate Rewards points to Iberia Club so long as you have one of the following Chase cards in your wallet:
If you have one of the cards above, you can also convert cash back earned with one of the following Chase cards to Ultimate Rewards points, and then transfer them to Iberia Club or another transfer partner. These transfers process at a rate of $0.01 to 1 Ultimate Reward point, meaning $100 converts to 10,000 Ultimate Reward points.
How do you transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Iberia Plus?
Transferring Ultimate Rewards points to Iberia Club is simple. Navigate to the Ultimate Rewards website, log in to your account and select the Ultimate Rewards points-earning card you’d like to transfer points from. On this page, you’ll see some basic information about the Iberia Club program. Click the “Transfer points” button at the bottom of the screen to start the transfer process. If you’ve transferred points to Iberia in the past, simply confirm your membership number and you can continue through the process. If not, you can add your Iberia Club number (or an authorized user’s) on this page.

Enter the amount of Ultimate Rewards points you’d like to transfer to Iberia Club at the center of the screen. You can transfer in increments of 1,000 points, and transfers usually process instantly. Remember, points transfer 1:1 from Ultimate Rewards to Iberia — for example, 25,000 Ultimate Rewards points transfer to 25,000 Iberia Avios.

Now, click “Next” to go to the transfer summary page. Review the on-screen details and click “Submit” to transfer your points.

Note that all Ultimate Rewards transfers — whether to Iberia Club or another airline or hotel loyalty program — are irreversible.
When should you transfer Chase points to Iberia Plus?
On paper, it might not make sense to transfer Ultimate Rewards points to Iberia Club, as TPG’s February 2026 valuations put Ultimate Rewards points at 2.05 cents per point and Avios — the currency used by Iberia Club — at 1.4 cents per point. In reality, however, it’s possible to get more than 2.05 cents per Avios from Iberia Club, especially when redeeming them for business-class tickets.
Regardless, it’s always worth comparing the points cost of any award ticket with the cost of booking directly or through the Chase Travel℠ portal. Sometimes, you’re better off booking low-cost economy tickets outright and saving your points for a future redemption.
Here are a couple of the best ways to redeem Iberia Avios for maximum value:
- Book Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), Dulles International Airport (IAD), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) or Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) to Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD) for as low as 29,500 Iberia Avios in premium economy or 40,500 Iberia Avios in business class one-way, plus taxes and fees.
- Book short-haul flights from Madrid to other European cities for as low as 3,150 Iberia Avios, plus taxes and fees.

You can also transfer Iberia Club Avios to Aer Lingus AerClub, British Airways Club, Qatar Airways Privilege Club, Finnair Plus or Vueling Club. This opens up dozens of other great redemption opportunities.
Bottom line
You can transfer your Ultimate Rewards points to various airline and hotel loyalty programs, including Iberia Club. While it’s a relatively niche transfer partner, it’s worth knowing before you book a trip to Europe.
Being able to transfer 40,500 Ultimate Rewards points to Iberia Club and book a business-class flight to Europe is an excellent deal. Plus, you can fly further into Europe for just a few thousand more points.
