Here’s the photo all Newcastle United fans are absolutely loving on Sunday night

Newcastle United 4 Manchester United 1 – Sunday 13 April 2025 4.30pm

The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see Sunday night.

United letting Man U off the hook in the first half.

A quality Isak-Tonali combination putting Newcastle United ahead midway through the opening half, only to waste chances to double up, then Man U scoring with a breakaway goal.

Not to worry though, as only a matter of time before United overwhelmed them.

The home side totally dominant and well worth the eventual 4-1 victory.

Harvey Barnes making it three goals in a week and then Captain Bruno finishing Man U off.

A winning snapshot post-match.

Another photo =  The twenty fourth one of this season.

The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.

(It is actually the twenty sixth victory of the season for United but for whatever reasons, no winning photo after the win over AFC Wimbledon. Then at the Emirates, I think for sure that no post-match dressing room photo was done due to the fact the Arsenal semi-final tie was only at halfway.)

It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.

‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’

I absolutely love it.

Seven more Premier League games to go, so hopefully plenty more of these photos to come this season.

Of course, this was a winning photo not featuring Eddie Howe.

Here’s hoping he makes a swift recovery and is back in the dugout ASAP.
