Gisele Bündchen Celebrates Her, Joaquim Valente’s Baby Turning One With Sweet Photos
Gisele Bündchen is focused on fitness.
Specifically, core-strengthening workouts after giving birth to her and husband Joaquim Valente‘s baby boy early last year.
“I really feel these exercises have been amazing,” the supermodel—who also shares kids Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, with ex Tom Brady—said in a Feb. 23 Instagram video. “They really have helped me gain my core strength back after my third pregnancy. I wish I knew them before, because I didn’t do them in my other pregnancies.”
Getting down on her hands and feet, Gisele then demonstrated her Pilates-based workouts, which consisted of raising her torso and knees up in the air as she exhaled and tightened her core muscles.
The 45-year-old started her postpartum fitness journey by doing sets of five of these exercises, before increasing the number to 20.
“This is simply me sharing my personal postpartum experience and what worked for my body,” Gisele wrote in the accompanying caption. “After my last baby, I started these five slow, intentional movements around eight weeks postpartum. No traditional crunches, just gentle, conscious work that helped me reconnect with my core.”
