Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews featuring Alexander Isak, Joao Felix and Eberechi Eze that we think you may have missed today…
In-demand CHELSEA target Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze has told friends that he’s going to join Arsenal this summer, amid all the reports that the Gunners are still interested in getting a £67.5 million deal done this window.
Arsenal have been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few weeks – there has been alot of players linked with a move to the Emirates – and Eze is a player that the Gunners reportedly wants.
After an impressive season for Crystal Palace last year – Eze has been attracting all sorts of interest from the Premier Leagues biggest clubs and there is surely a big battle brewing over the next few weeks – but it seems that the London clubs have the edge in the chase.
Now Team Talk claim the Gunners have now held discussions with Crystal Palace and the England international about a move, and the attacker has even told friends that he is making the move to the Emirates.
It has been previously reported that the Eagles will not accept a penny less than Eze’s release clause which is said to be £67.5million.
And according to reporter Iomie Stanley, he is good enough to make the move to Arsenal – he told icfootballnews: ‘I would be very surprised to still see Eze at Palace for next season.
“Michael Olise has already moved onto Bayern Munich last summer, so that will have addressed any financial concerns the club may have had and the funds raised from his sale has helped the club bring in some new faces, but Eze now has a taste for the very top of the game.
“Man United are the latest side to join the race for Eze – but Eze is a London boy and would love to make the move to the Emirates and not up North.
“I think he’s definitely good enough to play for one of the bigger clubs in the league, and i believe he could break into that starting side at the Emirates.’
JOAO FELIX SAUDI MOVE
It has now been revealed that Chelsea midfielder Joao Felix will not be making the move to Benfica, as a deal to send the attacker to Saudi Arabia has been reported over the last 24 hours.
CHELSEA have brought in several players including Estevao from Palmeiras, Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund, and Joao Pedro from Brighton as part of a total outlay of over £200m.
The Blues have barely sold any players this transfer window, with Djorde Petrovic making up most of that £44 million they have made from sales after he left the club to join Bournemouth.
However – there are a number of players linked with a move a move away from the club this summer, and the Blues are actually in talks to sell Joao Felix, and it was claimed that a move to Benfica was going to happen as the club were in advanced talks.
However – the Portuguese side do not want to splash the cash and It looks like Saudi are coming to rescue Chelsea again with the Blues having sold a lot of their players to clubs over there in recent seasons, as have many other clubs too mind.
Fabrizio Romano put out on his X account late last night:
“Al Nassr are in advanced talks to sign João Félix and hijack Benfica’s move!
“Understand Al Nassr have sent permanent deal proposal to Chelsea and contract proposal to João.
“The agreement is close as final details are set to be discussed in the next 24/48h.”

If the deal goes through, it will be great for Chelsea to get their money back, nobody would have believed that after he agreed to make the move to Stamford Bridge.
He will not be missed by the Blues fans that is for sure.
ISAK DECISION MADE
Chelsea transfer target Alexander Isak has reportedly made his mind up about his next move and reportedly wants to move to Liverpool this summer after telling Newcastle he wants to leave.
Joao Pedro and Liam Delap have both arrived this transfer window, but with the reports that Nicolas Jackson could be leaving the club this transfer window, there may be a chance for another striker to be signed and Isak is a player that Chelsea really admire.
Newcastle made it clear earlier in the transfer window Isak was not for sale this week when Liverpool stepped up their interest in the striker. The Magpies value Isak, who scored 23 Premier League goals last season, at £150m at least.

However – He missed their pre-season game against Celtic on Saturday, with Eddie Howe admitting that was partly down to speculation, as well as a thigh niggle.
But a few days ago came the news that he had been left out of the squad for Newcastle’s pre-season tour – and then that he had told the club he wanted to explore his options in the transfer window.
With a £150million price tag, there aren’t too many options – especially when you discount Saudi Arabia, but reports have claimed that Chelsea are ready to make their move to land one of the clubs long-term targets.
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to offer Jackson and Sterling as part of the deal that would secure the signing of Isak, as the Blues are looking to get Sterlings £325k-a-week wages off the books, while Jackson will not be needed as much as he was last campaign.
But according to the Guardian, the Swedish striker has outlined his desire to move to Anfield despite interest from a host of European clubs, including Chelsea, as the Reds are the club he is really excited about joining.
IcFootballnews Says…
If CHELSEA, Liverpool managed to sign Isak, they would be favourites to win that Premier League title next season, the big striker is one of the best around and would immediately improve those attacks.
But it will be interesting to see where he ends up as Liverpool and Chelsea have already added strikers to their attacks this summer
