Peacock has undoubtedly been one of the most reliable streaming services in recent years, with new television shows added on a monthly basis. On the one hand, the streamer has produced some fantastic originals, like Twisted Metal, Killing It, and Ted, but it also has access to a variety of content from third-party providers such as NBC, Bravo, and Telemundo.

As with every other month, the renowned streaming platform has planned a slate of TV shows that will soon be available to its users. These appear to range from intriguing sports documentaries to highly anticipated finales of popular shows, offering something for everyone. With that in mind, let’s take a look at what Peacock has in store for us in January 2025.

‘Lockerbie: A Search For Truth’

Lockerbie: A Search For Truth is an upcoming British drama series based on the 2021 book The Lockerbie Bombing: A Father’s Search for Justice by Jim Swire and Peter Biddulph. The film, starring Colin Firth as Jim Swire, chronicles the true story of Pan Am Flight 103, a transatlantic flight flying from London to New York, which was destroyed in December 1988 as a result of a bombing.

The tragedy occurred 38 minutes after the flight’s take-off in the Scottish town of Lockerbie, which not only resulted in the death of all 243 passengers and 16 crew members but also an additional 11 individuals. Following the incident, Jim Swire and his wife Jane fought fervently for justice, as they lost their beloved daughter Flora. Lockerbie: A Search For Truth will premiere on Peacock on Jan. 2.

‘The Traitors’ (Season 3)

The Traitors has unquestionably been one of the best reality TV shows in recent years, with a unique premise that divides everyone into loyal contenders and traitors. Following the phenomenal success of the second season, which was rather controversial as it pitted Gamer fans against Bruno fans, Peacock responded to the audiences’ plea by renewing it for another season, and it’s almost here.

Similar to the previous season, the third season’s cast is composed entirely of notable celebrities and reality show participants, some of whom include Dolores Catania (The Real Housewives of New Jersey), Well Adams (The Bachelorette 12), Jeremy Collins (Survivor: San Juan del Sur), and Nikki Garcia (Retired Professional Wrestler).
