‘The Morning Show’ (Season 4)
Stream on Sept 17
Inspired by the 2013 book Top of the Morning by Brian Stelter, The Morning Show is a drama series that delves into the culture and characters behind a fictional news network known as UBA. During the show’s first season, allegations of sexual misconduct led to the firing of a male co-anchor, which resulted in the unlikely pairing of Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston), the network’s other co-anchor, and Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon), a field reporter. What followed in subsequent seasons included an exploration of other political topics and current events, including racial inequality, COVID-19, the Capitol insurrection, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
As the series enters its fourth season, Alex and Bradley find themselves in very different roles. Two years have passed since the merger of UBA and NBN, which presents a completely new territory to navigate. Along with the complexities of their latest merged media landscape comes the weight of corporate responsibility. In a world where deepfakes, misinformation, and AI are more prevalent than ever, the concept of truth in journalism becomes tougher to uphold. The Morning Show Season 4 is streaming on September 17.

‘Slow Horses’ (Season 5)
Stream on Sept 24
Based on the Slough House series of books by Mick Herron, Slow Horses is a British spy thriller that follows a group of defrocked MI5 agents who’ve been relegated to an administrative purgatory known as Slough House. Under the supervision of Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman), the agents are meant to muddle through some of the most menial tasks in order to maintain their employment with the agency. However, season after season, River Cartwright (Jack Lowden) and his colleagues manage to find themselves in the middle of the action.
As the show enters Season 5, resident tech nerd Roddy Ho (Christopher Chung) has a glamorous new girlfriend, and it’s made everyone suspicious. Then, after a slew of bizarre attacks occur across the city, the gang at Slough House must figure out how it’s all connected. After all, Lamb properly understands that in the world of espionage, the “London Rules” of covering your own back always apply, no matter how cynical a take that might be. Wildly popular with viewers and critics alike, the show has already finished filming Season 6, and Season 7 is in the works. Slow Horses Season 5 is streaming on September 25.
