December usually marks the month of festive viewings and revisiting nostalgic classics, and new streaming titles tend to be a bit scarcer, with the Paramount+ line-up no exception. However, the addition of over 100 movies and 20 TV series/live events ensures viewers will have something to watch to indulge in that festive spirit. This includes everything from the crass holiday comedy A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas that parents can throw on after the kids go to bed, to ringing in the new year with the live event, New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. You can find a complete list of all the titles coming to Paramount+ for December 2025 at the bottom of this article to ensure you don’t miss any TV events or older releases coming to the platform for the first time.
Still, December is not entirely bereft of brand-new content on Paramount+, with the streaming platform offering up an anticipated streaming debut, a bound-to-be-controversial and much-talked-about documentary, and your next miniseries binge. Here are the new titles coming to Paramount+ for December 2025 that you won’t want to miss.
‘Guns Up’ (2025)
Available To Stream on December 1
In Guns Up, Ray Hayes (Kevin James) is a retired cop turned mob henchman who dreams of finally finding a peaceful existence by opening up a restaurant with his wife, Alice (Christina Ricci), to build a future for their children. Agreeing to take one final job that is supposed to be a quick in-and-out, Ray is double-crossed by one of the mob’s lieutenants, leaving him exposed to rival gangs. As the night spirals out of control, Ray finds himself targeted by various mob members and goons as he races to save his family while fighting off multiple threats.
There has undoubtedly been a surge in turning unlikely actors into more action-focused cinema. Among those films, the Kevin James-led Guns Up was somewhat overlooked; its arrival on streaming offers more people a chance to see it after a limited theatrical run. Of course, the major draw here is seeing fan favorite Kevin James deliver one of his most exciting roles, trading his comedic chops for an action hero role. Still, the film offers the familiar “one last job” trope, making it an easy pick for those wanting straightforward popcorn action. Critics may not have been thrilled, but it is easy to overlook the film’s flaws in favor of watching the King of Queens take on a very different role as a brutal fighter. Guns Up is available to stream on Paramount+ on December 1, 2025.
‘Predators’ (2025)
Available To Stream on December 8
Running from 2004 to 2007, To Catch a Predator was a cultural phenomenon that presented hidden-camera investigations into adults attempting to meet minors for sexual purposes. The show’s format, which culminated in an interview with its host, Chris Hanson, followed by an arrest, was deeply cathartic and rewarding for audiences. Hansen remains committed to tracking down sexual predators through his YouTube channel and subsequent shows like Takedown with Chris Hansen. Still, To Catch a Predator and Hansen himself have not been without controversy, including concerns about the show’s effects on the legal process and its impact on journalistic integrity. It is the controversy and legacy that shaped David Osit’s new documentary, Predators.
Predators explores the psychological, ethical, and broader legacy of the show, including the many copycats it spawned on platforms like YouTube and the role of audience complicity. The documentary features an interview with Hansen himself, giving him a chance to discuss the series’ lasting impact and controversies. Access to previously unseen material, an exploration of the show’s lasting impact on culture, and a modern re-evaluation of the program ensure Predators will be a highly discussed and controversial documentary that touches on disturbing yet poignant subject matter. Predators becomes available to stream on Paramount+ on December 8, 2025.
‘Little Disasters’ (Miniseries)
Available to Stream on December 11
Little Disasters focuses on the lives of four mothers whose longtime friendship is strained after a life-altering event. The catalyst comes when Jess (Diane Kruger) brings her newborn to the hospital with a head injury, unable to explain how it occurred, leaving her friend, Liz (Jo Joyner), an on-shift A&E worker, forced to make the tough decision on whether to call family services or not. Liz’s choice sets in motion a series of events that also spill over into the lives of Mel (Emily Taaffe) and Charlotte (Shelley Conn), as they are drawn into a web of moral dilemmas, personal fears, and strained friendships.
Little Disasters aims to offer an addictive, slow-burn thriller that explores themes of morality while delivering a highly emotional story; the trailer alone has us excited yet tense. The Paramount+ original miniseries also boasts a lot of talent both in front of and behind the camera. Notably, the show is produced by Rough Cut Television, which has worked on multiple BAFTA-winning programs, including the cult hit series People Just Do Nothing. With an engaging premise that is timely in its exploration of themes like motherhood and mental health, Little Disasters is a true highlight of the new TV series coming to streaming in December. All six episodes of Little Disasters will be available to stream on Paramount+ on December 11, 2025.
