Horror fans have come to know that Shudder is the ideal home for the genre, offering original movies, TV shows, and watch parties, all designed to celebrate the genre. At the same time, the streaming service has settled into presenting themes and collections, with March marked by the inclusion of the film catalog of cult-favorite directors, a celebration of women in horror films, and great found-footage horror.
There is a lot to get excited about in Shudder’s March line-up. Here we have highlighted our picks for the best films being added to the platform, and below that, you will find a complete list of all titles and dates, including watch parties.
‘Bodycam’ (2026)
Available to Stream March 13
Bodycam sets up the perfect scenario for some found-footage style chaos, following two police officers (played by Jaime Callica and Sean Rogerson) who respond to a routine domestic disturbance, only to cause an accidental death. Fearing repercussions, they try to cover up their actions. Yet, unseen, possibly supernatural, forces also witnessed the event and want revenge.
Bodycam has been billed as a “bold reinvention” of the found-footage genre, offering real-time footage of events captured through two bodycams. Fans can expect a heavy atmosphere and great jump scares as the Shudder Original movie comes to the platform, riding the hype from its run on the indie film festival circuit. Bodycam is available to stream on Shudder on Mar. 13, 2026.
‘Vulcanizadora’ (2024)
Available to Stream March 15
From the warped mind of director Joel Potrykus, Vulcanizadora follows two friends, Derek and Marty, played by Joshua Burge and Potrykus himself, as they head into the forest for some unknown pact. Yet, things don’t go as planned, leaving one of them devastated and worried about his future and the ripple effects of his actions.
A vague plot synopsis is intentional here, as Vulcanizadora is really about the experience, the slow build, and the payoff; it is best to go in knowing as little as possible. Joel Pottrrkus has a unique approach to cinema that is entirely his own, so it may not be for everyone. However, it is certainly worth checking out at least once. If you vibe with Potrykus’ work, Shudder is adding a batch of his films, including The Alchemist Cookbook, Buzzard, and Relaxer. Vulcanizadora is available to stream on Shudder on Mar. 15, 2026.
‘She Loved Blossoms More’ (2024)
Available to Stream March 22
She Loved Blossoms More is a surreal sci-fi horror-comedy by director Yannis Veslemes that follows three brothers who build a bizarre time machine in the hope of bringing their dead mother back to life. Their experiment spirals out of control when the patriarch learns of their plans and interferes. The result sends the three brothers into a psychedelic nightmare where the lines between past and present, real life and fiction, begin to blur.
She Loves Blossoms More taps into that ‘Greek-weird-wave’ vibe, defined by directors like Yorgos Lanthimos, who has achieved critical acclaim. The movie may not be on the same level of prestige, but it is a delirious blend of genres, one moment a standout horror comedy, the next a surreal family drama. The practical effects are also spot on and help punctuate the swirling visuals. She Loved Blossoms More is available to stream on Shudder on Mar. 22, 2026.
‘The Mortuary Assistant’ (2026)
Available to Stream March 27
Based on the hit 2002 indie horror game of the same name, The Mortuary Assistant follows newly certified mortician Rebecca Owens (Willa Holland), who takes a job working at a small-town mortuary under mentor Raymond Delver (Paul Sparks). Yet shortly after starting her job, Rebecca experiences terrifying visions and believes an evil entity is trying to possess her, and she must lean into the occult to dispel the threat.
The original game was a viral hit, and fans are excited to see how it will be adapted for the screen. At the same time, the game serves up an intense premise of balancing supernatural threats with occult rituals around cadavers. Game creator Brian Clarke also helped pen the film’s script, ensuring the adaptation will stay close to the game in tone and story. The Mortuary Assistant is available to stream on Shudder on Mar. 27, 2026.
