Endrick: Manchester United target’s specific January demand revealed – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United were quite active in the summer transfer window but could look for further reinforcements when the window reopens in the winter.

The Red Devils are ninth in the Premier League after eight games, although they remain just three points behind second-placed Manchester City.

The Premier League giants have won back-to-back games for the first time under Ruben Amorim, who will be eager to build on the recent performances.

Having scored just 11 goals in eight games in the Premier League this season, January represents an opportunity for United to further strengthen their frontline.

A new forward on United’s agenda

A recent report relayed by The Peoples Person suggests that the Red Devils have identified Real Madrid starlet Endrick as a potential target.

The highly rated Brazilian forward was in and out of Los Blancos’ starting XI last season under Carlo Ancelotti, but has been starved of opportunities since Xabi Alonso’s arrival this summer.

Endrick is yet to make an appearance this season, fuelling speculation about his future. A loan move in January has been touted as a possible option to help the 19 year old gain valuable first-team experience.

United are keen to take advantage of the situation, but a recent report has stated that Real Sociedad are leading the race to sign the Brazilian in January.

However, it now appears that a move to the Anoeta Stadium may be off the cards this winter.

Endrick wants European football

According to El Chiringuito TV, Endrick’s camp held a meeting with Real Madrid on Thursday to discuss his future.

It was decided that the player would leave on loan in January, preferably to a club outside Spain, effectively ruling Sociedad out of the race.

However, the report adds that the player is prioritising a move to a team competing in Europe, which also makes it harder for United to secure his signature. Amorim’s side are not participating in any European competitions this season.

The developments could deal a big blow to the Red Devils’ plans for the winter, especially since Joshua Zirkzee also remains linked with a January exit.
