November 18 – FIFA has added delivery technology company, DoorDash, as an Official Tournament Supporter for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027.
As the Official On-Demand Pick-Up and Delivery Supporter, DoorDash will participate in local campaigns, digital projects, and community events in host cities and beyond. The company is also stepping into a new role as the first Official Restaurant Reservations Platform Supporter, giving fans in select US cities a way to book tables through the app at watch parties spring up next summer.
Brazilian legend Ronaldinho will help kick off the partnership with a digital campaign aimed at a new generation of fans.
“Joining DoorDash for this campaign was special because it took me back to how I started my career – wanting to have fun with the ball and creating something magical,” he said.
“For me, football has always been about trying the impossible, making people smile and sharing that joy with fans… I hope fans, old and new, feel that same excitement, whether they’re watching at home or in the stands.”
FIFA’s chief business officer Romy Gai said the collaboration is a natural fit. “The FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup unite billions of fans… DoorDash’s strength in local markets and its focus on connection makes them a perfect fit.”
