Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews featuring the likes of Marc Cucurella, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Rodrygo that we think you may have missed…
There has been some fresh reports in the media which have again claimed that CHELSEA have no intention of letting Spaniard Marc Cucurella leave the club during this summers transfer window.
Cucurella turned the tide after a poor season and a half at Stamford Bridge to become one of the most crucial players in the team and a player that boss Enzo Maresca has been able to rely on during the last season.
But there has been some reports in the media which have claimed that Chelsea may be open to letting Cucurella leave the club this summer, as the club are bringing in Dutch Star Jorrel Hato from Ajax.
But football.london reports that Chelsea have “no intention” of parting ways with Cucurella this transfer window, despite links with Al-Nassr, and want to keep the Spanish International at the club for the foreseeable future.

It is great news that CHELSEA wants him stay because he has been very impressive for the club over the past 12 months and is easily the clubs number one left-back now, the Blues would be foolish to let him leave.
Saudi Arabian clubs will be willing to make a massive offer, pay around the £70 million mark to get a deal done, but then Chelsea would have to go and find an immediate replacement, get that player used to how things work at the club, let him settle into life in England, it would be more hassle than it is worth.
Cucurella may not be the most exciting player to watch, but he does his job pretty damn well in that Chelsea shirt and keeping hold is a very good decision by the club.
But if there is a massive £100 million offer from Saudi Arabia, then that may change.
RODRYGO DEMANDS
CHELSEA, Liverpool and Tottenham target Rodrygo Goes has already set his first condition to leave Real Madrid this summer: an annual salary of 12 million euros is wanted according to Fichajes
Rodrygo scored 13 goals and provided over 10 assists in over 50 appearances last season, but Tension has been building between the Brazilian and Real with the winger unhappy with his role in the team with his relationship with his teammates deteriorating significantly.
The former Santos starlet, who joined Real for €45million in 2018, is ‘angry’ with his diminished role and it has been claimed that he would be open to leaving the Spaniards over the next few months, with reports suggesting that he believes he has played his last game for Real.
According to recent reports, Madrid could be willing to part ways with the Brazilian forward if a substantial offer arrives. The ultimate decision, however, will rest with both Rodrygo and new head coach Xabi Alonso.
However, It was claimed Real will be demanding a fee of €100million (£87m) for the player, and now Rodrygo will be looking for an annual fee of around 12 million euros to make the move away from Madrid and join that next club.
icfootballnews says…
Rodrygo has been world class for a few seasons, he is playing at Real and scoring the goals that big time players should be scoring, but his time at the club is probably coming to the end as the Spaniards look to keep on improving the side.
CHELSEA have done some great business already this transfer window, are looking at a few more deals, so adding Rodrygo to the side is probably something that Enzo Maresca does not need.
That big fee and that big wage means that he would probably not be worth it.
DONNARUMMA OFFER MADE
According to Sportitalia, Gianluigi Donnarumma has received the first significant interest from Galatasaray, after it emerged the CHELSEA target may be sold by PSG this transfer window.
Regarded as one of the finest stoppers in the world, Gianluigi Donnarumma is not pleased with his current situation at Paris Saint-Germain, according to the many reports in the media over the past few days.

The 26-year-old is yet to reach an agreement over a new contract with PSG and is entering the final year of his deal at the Parc des Princes. As such, Chelsea, City and Bayern are keeping close tabs on the Italy No. 1’s situation,
According to L’Equipe, PSG officials are looking to sell star goalkeeper Donnarumma this summer after the Italian refused to sign a new contract. The reigning European and French champions do not want to go through a similar situation to Mbappe’s when the France captain walked out of the club as a free agent in the summer of 2024 and joined Real
Now the big Italian star has seen his first big contract offer get made as Galatasaray have made an ambitious move to get a deal done, and the Turkish side are are willing to offer him better wages than the French club have proposed so far.
The ex-AC Milan keeper appreciates the Turkish club’s interest but will take his time to decide on his next move.

There is no doubt that Donnarumma is the best goalkeeper in world football, and has the potential to become one of the greatest, he is only 26-years of age and has won so much in his career.
If the reports are true and CHELSEA will have the chance to get a transfer deal done, he would be an amazing signing for the Blues and one that would solve an issue for Enzo Maresca.
The transfer window is open for another month, it will be interesting to see how this all plays out, but he would be a great signing for Chelsea that is for sure.
