there has been some fresh reports in the media which have claimed that the likes of Chelsea are pushing hard to try and secure the signing of Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez.
Now, we all know that CHELSEA spent some serious money in the summer transfer window, they added a number of players, but only Liam Delap and Joao Pedro were the two players that the Blues chose to lead that attack.
However – both strikers have failed to impress like many would have hoped, meaning that the Blues board will once again delve into the transfer kitty and possibly add a new striker to that attack, and Julien Alvarez has been linked with a move back to the Premier League.
According to a report from SPORT, the player will cost over €100 million, and two London clubs are pushing hard to secure his signature.

Alvarez has been one of the best strikers in the world since his move to Atletico Madrid. He has been scoring goals consistently, and there is no doubt that he would be an exceptional addition to that Chelsea attack.
But the January transfer window has just closed, Chelsea could have signed Alvarez if they really wanted to get the South American star, so rumours will continue to fly over the next few months about players the Blues could sign.
We do know that CHELSEA need to add some leaders to the squad, they need to sign players that will make an immediate impact, Alvarez is the type of player that could come in and lead that Blues attack.
Liam Rosenior needs to sign players that he wants, that he can really work with, it will be interesting to see just who the Blues manage to sign when the summer transfer window opens up, there will be alot of players linked that is for sure.
VAN DE VEN TOLD TO LEAVE SPURS
Tottenham star ad Chelsea transfer target Micky van de Ven has been told that a move to one of Europe’s true heavyweights is the “right step” for his career as Spurs continue to falter under Thomas Frank.
Once again this season, Tottenham are under performing after a summer of change, as Tomas Frank struggles to get the results the club need in order to challenge for a top four spot and aybe add some more trophies to the cabinet.
That has led to many reports in the media that the likes of Micky Van De Ven could be one of the many players that look to leave Spurs and move on to one of the bigger clubs in search of glory and top level football.
Speaking on the defender’s future, Elia was emphatic in his recommendation for a move to a global powerhouse. “I think Van de Ven has to finish the season at Tottenham [by playing] consistently and show everybody he can go to the next level. He’s strong and has good posture. He can score, he can dribble, and he can defend,” he said, according to The Daily Star.
“If he continues like this, I think after the World Cup, he can make a good step to the bigger clubs. Not that Tottenham isn’t a big club, but clubs that are a step above.’

Van De Ven is a player that CHELSEA will look to battle for at the end of the season, he is the right age and quality to come in and make an immediate impact, if the Blues ac actually want to get a transfer deal done.
But with Liverpool and Real Madrid also reportedly interested, the Blues will have a massive battle on their hands.
CHELSEA GET SANDRO TONALI BOOST
Chelsea target Sandro Tonali’s future at Newcastle United is back in the spotlight after his agent, Giuseppe Riso, hinted at a potential summer move
CHELSEA were heavily linked with alot of players over the course of the January window, as many felt that the Blues needed to add an enforcer like Tonali to the midfield, and the Italian was a player that could have reportedly left Newcastle in the window.
The summer window will once again give the Blues an opportunity to try and sign Tonali, and in a revealing interview with TuttoSport, Tonali’s agent, Giuseppe Riso, provided a candid update on the player’s mindset following the close of the winter window.
While Riso was quick to dismiss the January links of a move away from Newcastle, his comments regarding the summer were far more ambiguous: “Newcastle are having a hard time letting go of Sandro, and he wants to lead the club to the Champions League,” Riso explained.
“These transfer discussions will take place later. We’ll see how the season ends and then we’ll decide what to do. There’s no preference at the moment. It’s still early. What we’re saying today won’t apply tomorrow. Newcastle couldn’t let him go now, and there’s no point in moving, especially since Sandro is very attached to the club.
‘We’ll evaluate and decide what to do in the summer.”

Tonali could have left Newcastle in the winter window, and it would have been a massive loss for the Toon to lose such a massive player, especially as they wants to get back into the Champions LEAGUE for next season.
But we really cant see the club making a move for Tonali, that £100 million asking price may out the board off
However – if the Toon are unable to get back into Europe, then the Italian could look for that move as he wants to be competing for the big trophies and playing against the best players, he will not do that if he stays at Newcastle and they are not progressing.
But if he does move, it will be interesting to see where he might end up.
