Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer talk from icfootballnews that we think you may have missed featuring the likes of Noni Maduake, Mia Fishel and Nicolas Jackson…
Alan Shearer believes CHELSEA may look to sell Nicolas Jackson after their Club World Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday, as they now have some serious options in the forwards position.
Chelsea have already bolstered their attacking options this summer with a £30 million deal to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich Town and a £60m move for Joao Pedro from Brighton last week, and there is talk that they will continue their summer of spending.
Delap scored his first Chelsea goal against ES Tunis in the Club World Cup group stage, while Pedro has made an immediate impact with his impressive double in the semi-final against Fluminense on Tuesday night.
And Shearer feels Chelsea will be open to a deal for the 24-year-old, who was signed from Villarreal for £32m two years ago: ‘I don’t know, am I playing devil’s advocate here in thinking Jackson may be the one?’ Shearer said on The Rest Is Football podcast.
‘That wouldn’t surprise me if he was sold to someone, whether in our country or not, that’s one that wouldn’t surprise me if they made that decision.
Enzo Maresca used Nicoas Jackson alot last season, he played pretty much every Premier League game, despite the fact he was not scoring on a regular basis.
But now with all the attacking options that Maresca has, he may no longer need to have Jackson in the side and if the right offer does come along, then Chelsea will surely let the star leave.
However – we can see the Blues keeping hold of Jackson as they will have many games nest season and he could be useful to have.
CHELSEA have now officially confirmed that Mia Fishel has returned home to the USA after completing a permanent transfer to Seattle Reign.
The Blues posted on the club website: ‘The forward’s two-year spell at Kingsmeadow comes to an end, as she leaves Chelsea to join Seattle of the National Women’s Soccer League in America, where she will play alongside Blues legend Ji So-Yun.’Fishel joined Chelsea from Mexican side Tigres ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season and made an instant impact, heading in our first goal during the 2-1 opening-day win over Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on her debut.
‘She added further goals in the Women’s FA Cup and Women’s Champions League to that Women’s Super League strike, before her campaign was cut short by injury in February.
‘The USA international returned from her absence in March of this year, coming off the bench as we beat Manchester City in the WSL, having been an unused substitute when we defeated the same opponents in the Women’s League Cup final a week earlier.
‘She made three further WSL appearances before the end of the season, getting back on the scoresheet in a 4-0 victory against Crystal Palace, as we closed in on the league title.
‘It means Fishel leaves CHELSEA as a two-time WSL champion and a Treble winner, with a total of four goals in 21 appearances for the Blues in all competitions.
‘Chelsea thank Mia for her contribution during two hugely successful seasons for the club and wish her continued success for her future career.’
MADUAKE TIPPED FOR MOVE
Winger Noni Maduake is seemingly on his way out of CHELSEA this summer, and if you believe the reports of reporter Iomie Stanley, a move away from Stamford Bridge may in fact be the best thing for the lad to make.
The 23-year-old recorded 16 goal contributions in 41 games in all competitions last season, but has been linked with a surprise £50million move to Arsenal.

Chelsea have been doing alot of transfer business over the past few weeks and after bringing in Joao Pedro from Brighton and Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund, the Blues are looking to free up some space in that attack, if you believe all the reports in the media.
But according to The Telegraph, the Blues are expecting offers of more than £50million for Madueke and they will not be letting the attacker go for anything less than that valuation after the season he has just had, despite both clubs reportedly holding talks.
Stnaley told icfootballnews: ‘Chelsea’s summer overhaul has added serious firepower out wide. With João Pedro, Jamie Gittens, and budding star Estevão Willian all arriving, plus existing forwards like Cole Palmer, Madueke now finds himself squeezed in a crowded attack
‘Despite a breakthrough last season—notably a Premier League hat-trick versus Wolves and double-digit goal contributions—he’s already seen reduced involvement in key tournaments like the Club World Cup
‘While Madueke has claimed his place with strong performances, there were moments—like his benching in the Club World Cup—indicating he’s on the fringes
‘Reports show Arsenal have officially entered talks, with Madueke reportedly agreeing personal terms on a five-year deal. Talking points include Chelsea valuing him at £50 million+, with Arsenal prepared to match that A strong season in a fresh environment could re-establish his credentials.
‘At 23, Madueke still has a solid runway of improvement ahead. But consistent top-level minutes—which he might struggle to get amid Chelsea’s growing depth—are critical for his development.
A move, whether permanent or on loan, could provide the platform to prove he can be more than a rotation option. Although a move to Arsenal may not benefit him anymore than staying at CHELSEA would.’
