Pedro Fernandez, better known as ‘Dro’, has emerged as the biggest talking point at Barcelona overnight following the player’s shock decision to leave the club.
Regarded as one of the most talented players in La Masia, Barcelona had special plans for Dro in the years to come. But his sudden decision to leave has come as a shock to the entire management.
Following the news of his imminent departure, a host of clubs have already started getting linked to the talented midfielder, including the likes of Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.
Barcelona dressing room certain of PSG move
However, as reported by Mundo Deportivo, the most likely destination for Dro could be Paris Saint-Germain.
At least this is what the Barcelona dressing room believes, with the report citing what Dro may have told players within the team.
Nevertheless, PSG are yet to table an offer for the prodigal Barcelona midfielder and the player’s camp firmly maintains that his future remains undecided.
The youngster has been closely linked with a move to England as well as Germany, but a move to PSG cannot be ruled out, given their financial pedigree and ability to attract talent.
Not to mention, coach Luis Enrique has turned PSG into a well-oiled machine that not only relies on star talents but also nurtures them.
Fabrizio Romano, meanwhile, has recently offered an update on Dro’s future as well, ruling out a move to another Spanish club. The Italian is also unsure if the player will join an English club, further reinforcing the possibility of a move to PSG.
But nothing is final as of yet, and the coming days could be crucial as Dro looks to take the next big step in his career.
