Liverpool are on a run of draws in the Premier League, but another at Bournemouth would see them match a record last set in 1980.
Liverpool have drawn their last two away league games. The last time they drew three in succession was in November 2023.
Including home games, they have drawn their last four in the Premier League. Not since October/November 1980 have the Reds drawn five successive league games.
Liverpool already broke the record of failing to record a win against any promoted side at Anfield in the league since 1980/81 after the Burnley draw, let’s not add another to the list!
Liverpool on longest unbeaten run in Europe’s top 5 leagues
Liverpool are unbeaten in the last 10 league games since losing 3-0 at home to Nottingham Forest in November.
They are also unbeaten in the last 13 in all competitions (seven wins, six draws). It is currently the longest undefeated run of any team in Europe’s top-five leagues.
Liverpool’s key to victory is scoring first

Thirty-two of Liverpool’s 36 points this season have come when they have scored the game’s first goal.
The Reds, however, have scored fewer league goals in the opening half hour of Premier League games this season than any other team.
They have netted three times, with only one of those coming since September 21, Hugo Ekitike’s 46th-second strike against Brighton.
How many goals Mo Salah has scored against Bournemouth

Mo Salah is the highest scorer in the history of the fixture, with 12 goals in 13 appearances. He netted both goals in the 2-0 win here last season, the first from the penalty spot.
In fact, he has taken a penalty in three of his last five league matches against the Cherries, scoring once and missing twice, though on one occasion scoring from a rebound.
And if the Egyptian plays, he will appear in a record 14th game in this fixture, a total which Bournemouth’s Adam Smith could also achieve.
Liverpool have had Bournemouth’s number of late

Bournemouth have lost 13 of the last 14 clashes in all competitions.
Since a 2-2 draw at Anfield in April 2017, Bournemouth have scored five times in 13 league matches whilst conceding 44.
On November 1, the Cherries were in second place in the top-flight having won five of their nine games. Since then, they have won one of the last 13 (six draws, six losses).
And something to be mindful of, if they were to score first, they have dropped 18 points from winning positions in the league this season. No team in the top-flight has surrendered more.
