Arteta – Maduake – Gyokeres feature in Arsenal news now

Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews featuring the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Maduake and Mikel Arteta that you may have missed today…

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has opened up and revealed that he is very excited about the signing of Noni Maduake from Chelsea, after ARSENAL agreed to pay over £50 million to sign the attacker this summer window.

Noni Maduake was a big part of the side last season and had his breakthrough season as a Blue, but rumours emerged a few weeks ago that he is one player Chelsea were open to letting the winger go, and Arsenal made their moves.

And after a few weeks of rumours, speculation and gossip, Maduake has now made the move across London on a five-year deal, with reports suggesting that the Gunners paid over £50 million to secure Maduake.

And after seeing the latest Arsenal signing make the move to the Emirates,  the Gunners boss said it’s a coincidence that the club have signed several players from Chelsea over the past few windows.

“It’s probably because they have some great players and a lot of players!” he said. “But we try to focus on the players that we want to sign, regardless of the club they are in. It’s probably a coincidence. What is not a coincidence is the squad and the quality of the squad.

‘While I’m here as well, I congratulate them for winning the Club World Cup because I think it was a big achievement for them.

“With Noni, I’m very, very excited. You’ve seen the reaction of all the players as well, especially the ones who know him very well. He needs a little bit of a break now, but he will be with us soon showing what he’s going to bring to the team.”

ARSENAL have done some decent business this summer, but Maduake is a player that Arsenal fans did not want to make the move to the Emirates, they see him as a waste of money.

He has alot to prove over the next few months, but if he works hard and replicates some of those impressive performances at Chelsea last season, he could be a very useful addition to the side.

AGUSTIEN SIGNS UP

Demiane Agustien believes ARSENAL is the best place to be for his development after signing his first professional contract with the Gunners and ending the immediate speculation regarding his future.

Midfield starlet Agustien already has experience at that level — he even caught Arsenal’s eye back in April when he teed up an assist against them at Meadow Park. and now the 17-year-old Dutch youth international has penned professional terms in North London and is set to link up with the Gunners’ under-21s this season.

He said in his first interview: “I’m just very pleased, obviously playing for a big club. Can’t wait to get started and play for Arsenal. I think the way they’ve got the ex-pro footballers here as well, which is something big within the club.

“Obviously, you’ve got the likes of Per [Mertesacker], which I’ve obviously spoken to as well, and I know his values.

“They’re very high and he wants to create a better player, but also a better person, which is a great statement as well.”

“My dad has played professional football as well before. He played for the likes of Swansea, Brighton, Crystal Palace, really good to be fair.

“He helps me a lot as well and so does my mum as well. So good combination to have.”

Demiane has looked up to multiple players within our first team, especially Jurrien Timber, as the midfielder explains, He said: “Obviously, I’ve known about him because he’s a Dutch player, but he’s also from Curaçao, a small Caribbean island, where I’m from and not many people from the Netherlands and from Curaçao live in the UK.

“So therefore, it’s nice to obviously see him, train with him as well and see the levels of what brought him here and what got him here.”

GYOKERES IS GREAT

Gabriel Magalhaes has talked up an impending ARSENAL switch for Viktor Gyokeres, as the big striker is coming to the Emirates after a five-year deal was agreed, although a fee cant be reached between the two clubs.

The Gyokeres saga has been ongoing throughout the summer, but it seems we’re finally nearing a conclusion, reports the Mirror. The Swedish striker has packed up his belongings in Lisbon and is close to realising his dream move.

Talks are now focused solely on the details of the add-ons and payment structure. And reports have claimed that Spanish side Almeria are putting pressure on Sporting to speed up the purchase of his replacement, by sending a not too subtle warning.

Sporting are keen to replace the Swedish striker with Almeria’s Luis Suarez this summer, but the forward has plenty of offer suitors which are pushing to strike a deal.

Now – ahead of his potential arrival at the Emirates, Gabriel has opened up and claimed that Gyokeres is a great player – Gabriel said: “We all know [Gyokeres] is a great player. Playing against him last year was a challenge, he is great and had a great season.

After scoring over 50 goals last season for Sporting, Gyokeres is the man that everyone wants to see in the Premier League, many are wondering if he can cut it in the English game.

ARSENAL is a great move to make and if Gyokeres can adjust quickly to the Gunners and the Premier League, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea should be very worried.

But he is a great striker that can bang in the goals and we are all excited to see what he can bring to the Premier League, he is one of the best strikers in the game and a man that the Gunners desperately need.

They cant miss out on signing Gyokeres over a few million
