Arsenal must sign Eze by August 15th

Eberechi Eze’s £68million release clause at Crystal Palace expires on August 15, as ARSENAL have reportedly been given a deadline to complete a move for the Crystal Palace attacker this transfer window.

After an impressive season for Crystal Palace last year – Eze has been attracting all sorts of interest from the Premier Leagues biggest clubs and there is surely a big battle brewing over the next few weeks – but it seems that the London giants that are most keen on a transfer deal for the star.

Standard Sport understands the release clause remains active until that date, when the Premier League season begins with Liverpool hosting Bournemouth.

Arsenal are aware of the situation and hold an ongoing interest in Eze, who is open to a move to the Emirates if the opportunity materialises, as he would like to play at the very highest level, and in the Champions League.

Sources close to the situation believe Arsenal may need to make space in the squad by selling before moving for the England international, but there has been interest from elsewhere in Leandro Trossard, and suggestions that he could leave if the Gunners get the right amount of money

The Gunners held talks with Eze’s representatives earlier this summer and value the versatile forward at less than his £68m release clause, so would negotiate with Palace.

Trossard is a player that most fans like, he done nothing wrong last season and produced on big occasions, there is no guarantee that Eze will be any better and many fans will wonder why he needs to be signed.

It has dragged on for weeks already, so hopefully by August 15th we have an answer about where the attacker is moving too, if he moves.
