Arsenal fc news: Vlahovic – Pogba

Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys could hav emissed today…

Reporter Iomie Stanley has told the likes of Arsenal why they should think about signing Dusan Vlahovic in the upcoming transfer window and add a proven top level striker to the attack

The transfer window is only a few months away and it will give Mikel Arteta the chance to delve into that transfer kitty once more and try to sign a striker that will bang in goals on a weekly basis.

ARSENAL have started the season in fine fashion and are once again in the hunt to try and win the Premier League title – but there is a feeling that they are missing that 25-goal a season forward.

That has led to constant rumours in the media linking the Gunners with a move for Vlahovic – who only moved to Juventus two summers ago – but has constantly been linked with a move away as he struggled to score the goals they wanted him too.

Arsenal have been given the chance to sign Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic for £60 million but will also have to offer a massive £12M-a-year contract, according to  recent report on Tuttosport.

Now Stanley acknowledges the exceptional quality of the 24-year-old striker and reveals what make the striker one of the best in Europe right now

“He is a top-level striker, amongst the best in Europe right now and a man that could go on to really challenge Erling Haaland for the best in the game.

“He has the physical attributes to be able to handle the Premier League and if you put him in a side like Arsenal – he could easily bang in 30 goals a season and maybe even get closer to the 40 goal mark.

Vlahovic is a very good striker that could be a very good signing for ARSENAL – he is one of a number of options for Mikel Arteta – he could be a very good signing for the right price that is for sure.

PAUL POGBA MESSAGE SENT

Former Gunners star William Gallas has opened up and encouraged ARSENAL to not make a move to bring Paul Pogba to the club when he makes his footballing return in the new year.

Pogba, 31, is desperate to get his career back on track after his four-year ban for doping offences was reduced to 18 months following an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The French World Cup winner will be free to resume training from January 2025 and is eligible to play again in March, and moves to the MLS or Saudi Arabia have been suggested as possibilities for Pogba.

He has been tipped to make his Premier League comeback. However, former Gunner Petit has ruled Arsenal out of the running as he does not believe they will want to make a high-risk play on the 31-year-old.

Pogba has often shown glimpses of his quality without ever delivering consistently and, now into his 30s, Gallas believes Arsenal should steer clear of Pogba as he questioned his ability to stay fit.

He told Genting Casino : “Can Paul Pogba go back to the Premier League? I don’t think so, because the Premier League is very intense. We know Pogba can’t play for a very long time.

‘He will show desire to play and probably train very hard, but it’s tough for him to play a lot of games in the Premier League for a whole season. Clubs like Arsenal will think twice before signing Pogba.

‘If you buy Pogba, there’s a guarantee that he won’t last the whole season without an injury, especially at 31 years old.”

It has been a shock to see that ARSENAL have been linked with a move for Pogba, but it will never happen, Arsenal fans dont need to worry.

If i was the Frenchman, i would take that massive pay-check over in the Saudi Leagues and just enjoy easy football for a few seasons.

DURAN THE RIGHT PLAYER FOR ARSENAL

Reporter iomie Stanley has encouraged ARSENAL to explore a transfer move for Jhon Duran in the coming transfer windows as the Aston Villa striker continues to be linked with some of football’s biggest and best clubs.

Duran stunned Liverpool with a late double in Villa’s final home match of last season and the striker has picked up where he left off this term, and is making a real name for himself in the Premier League.

The likes of Chelsea and West Ham were linked with Duran in the summer and the forward’s eye-catching form in front of goal has put a number top teams around Europe on alert, according to AS Colombia.

The report claims ARSENAL and Barcelona have both asked about the possibility of signing Duran this winter and Villa have been unequivocal with their response: he will be going nowhere for anything less than £80 million.

Mikel Arteta told to make a move for Duran.

Stanley has not been put off by Duran’s price tag and believes the ‘intelligent’ Colombia international could be a perfect fit for the Gunners: ‘I loved his performance against the big sides this season.

‘He’s the right player for ARSENAL – quick, unselfish, solid in the air, technically skilled, and intelligent in his movement.’

‘He has technique, he can hold the ball and can flick on. He is an all round striker.’

‘There is alot more growth that he can do over the next few seasons, but he really is the type of player that Arsenal could sign and then turn into a world class forward, he really has that potential.

‘Mikel Arteta knows the type of player that he would like to add to his side, but Duran is certainly a player that would offer that Gunners attack something different’
